In today’s version 10.5 update, we are introducing two new features in the Add Comics screen.

New “One-by-One” mode in Add By Barcode tab: scan and add comics one-at-a-time, without a queue.
New: easily open any series in the Series tab: in any issue preview pop-up, the series title is now a tappable link that takes you straight to that series in the Series tab

Add Movies: when using the ‘Type barcode’ tab the Preview pop-up could show under the number keyboard

Add Books: when using the ‘Type ISBN’ tab, the preview pop-up could show under the ISBN keyboard

Adding books by scanning/reading ISBN barcodes is one of the most popular features of the CLZ Books app. Just scan ISBNs, bleep, bleep, bleep, and the scanned books are added to a “queue”. Then use the Add button at the bottom to add all queued books to your database in one go. Quick and efficient.

However, we always like to keep improving the app, or at least give users multiple options. So today we have added a new “One-by-One” mode to the Add by ISBN screen, that is, without a queue.

Adding movies by scanning barcodes is one of the most popular features of the CLZ Movies app. Just scan barcodes, bleep, bleep, bleep, and the scanned movies are added to a “queue”. Then use the Add button at the bottom to add all queued movies to your database in one go. Quick and efficient.

New:

Tapping “Find on eBay” for slabbed comics will now create an eBay search that includes ‘CGC’ and the grade you’ve set for it

Fixed for Android:

Card View: there was a difference in size/spacing between cards
Edit screen: a crash could occur when picking an entry from a pick list
Tablet only: after editing and saving, the details panel didn’t refresh

Adding “Watched” to the Pre-fill popup crashed the app

Details: Box Set Notes didn’t show correctly
Details: Formats without an icon didn’t show correctly as text

Statistics: Now has a line showing the total purchase price of both movies and box sets together

New sort options for Toys: When browsing your list of toys, tap the AZ button top right to select one of these 3 new sorting options:
- Toy Type, then Title
- Toy Type, then Subtype, then Title
- Toy Type, then Series, then Title
Sort order is now remembered per collection type (games, hardware or toys)
A small text link to “Add Manually” has been added on the Title tab in the Add Games / Add Hardware screens
Add Hardware Manually is now accessible again for “grandfathered” users. Just choose Add Hardware from the menu
