As someone who painstakingly created a “database” of my movie collection using a spreadsheet years ago, I can confidently say that this app is a game changer! Gone are the days of endless hours spent organizing, updating, and maintaining my catalog.
Setting up the app took me less than 5 seconds—seriously! The interface is incredibly intuitive, making it accessible for anyone, whether you’re a tech wizard or just someone who loves movies. The only minor hiccup I encountered was when the QR code scanned incorrectly and friends in retail say that happens alot so it is not the app’s fault. However, even when I had to enter information manually, it took less than a minute to get everything sorted.
The user-friendliness of this app is what really shines. It's refreshing to have a tool that makes cataloging my collection so effortless. If you've been doing it the old-fashioned way, trust me, this app will save you a ton of time and frustration. Highly recommend!

This app and web based attachment it absolutely fantastic. The sync between the two is awesome and the scanning is fastest I've ever witnessed. Best buy I've made in a long time, will be switching my payments to yearly before end of the month.

Should you have a small disc collection, or large, this app proved to be an essential part of a collection. No more duplicate purchases. Works well, no issues.

Our family just quit streaming services and went back to physical media. I was using Libib to track movies and books but half the time it never recognized what I was scanning so I would have to manually input.
This app is wonderful and I love that it displays the cover. Libib did not do that and this is so much more aesthetically pleasing. I discovered CLZ from a TikTok that came across my FYP and I’m so glad I did.

Awesome app. I'm able to track every DVD, bluray, and vhs in my collection easily. It's also very easy to manually add movies if you want to add "custom" discs, and equally as easy to add custom front and rear cover art. I highly recommend this app for physical media collectors.

It's not really a question but I just wanted to let you that I really love the last update of CLZ movies. The field where you can tabulate the number of times you watched a movie was brilliant. Congrats to all.

Husband and I have a DVD collection of 4,000+ movies. Back before the turn of the century, it was a VHS collection which I tracked via an Excel spreadsheet. Can’t remember when we learned of CLZ but we’ve been using it for over 15 years. It’s easy to use (we are in our late sixties) and so convenient to be able to easily check your phone to see the movie collection. Last year we added all the CDs, also. If you collect, CLZ is for you!

Gives you the choice of making multiple collections plus you can search your movies by alphabet, actor or genre. Plenty of extras to use too including trailers and ratings. (There are no ads in the app)

It's very easy to use to scan in movies to the database. Once in the database there's plenty of options to organize the movies and TV shows.
I really like using this powerful app.

I recently changed phones, thought I had lost all my info as my subscription was on an old email that I could not get into. The customer service was amazing in helping retrieve my save 1,400 movie titles. I love this app and use it all the time to show friends movies I have to watch on movie night.

In my 4th paid year now and I can honestly report this app is all and everything one needs to organize his movie collection. And keeps getting better!

The CLZ Movies app is an amazing way to catalog a movie collection and track what you have, don’t have, and want to obtain. You can scan them in using the bar codes, it hits the web and iMDB for pertinent information, and automatically adds the details. Or you can manually add things. It can all go to the cloud so you can log in from any of your devices and access your collection.
It’s been one of the best apps I have.

CLZ Movies has been perfect for helping my organize my collection. If I’m ever unable to find one of my movies, CLZ Movies keeps a record of the location I last put the movie. CLZ Movies is a must have if you’re trying to organize or keep track of your movie collection!

Also the app links to and pulls all the film information from IMDB into your data base

Have used CLZ for years and still consider it the best! I have over 600 DVD’s in my CLZ collection. Anytime I see a dvd that interests me, I quickly check CLZ on my Iphone to see if I already have it. It’s been great!

This is by far the best collection app in the business; flawless in design and execution!

I was looking for an app that could easily scan my DVD/Bluray library and print off the database using selection of column headings. After a few false starts with other “similar” apps, I settled on the CLZ Movies - movie database.
This app provides me with all that I was looking for and much more besides, considering how easy and flexible the options are.
I have commenced the scanning process and the option to produce a psd printout all through the iPhone is a bonus as there is no need to use a desktop to do this.
All in all, a really good compiler, editor and easily accessible database.

The new and improved Barcode scanner is impressive. Makes adding movies to the collection super fast and painless.

I love using this app in tandem with the web software. Coordinating my collection, avoiding double purchases and updating metadata is always an enjoyable experience with this app.

Put my first 3 uk discs on. One old dvd, one brand new blu and one oldish dvd. All recognised. All with info and pics. Seems perfect. Once i get to 100, as long as no probs, i will pay for full version. Well worth it.
UPDATE: LOVE THIS APP.

So easy to use. Can scan a pile of 4k or blu ray in seconds! Info is incredibly detailed and brilliantly laid out. You can even print out your collection.

I've used the app for years and it's been great. Easy to use, Nicely customizable. And excellent support.

Previously kept a record of my dvd/bluray collection on an Excel spreadsheet, however always took ages to update it. This app took me just over 2hours to catalogue my entire collection. It was super easy to do, just scanning every barcode and it added all the information automatically. Now if I can't decide what to watch, a quick shake of my phone, and the app chooses something at random. Well worth the annual subscription.

Seems like each time I open it I discover something new. I like the speediness of the search and the fact that, so far, the CLZ database has found all of my physical media movies, including obscure disks with multiple movies on them.
I don't have any complaints :)

I love the ease of use and having my collection at my fingertips when I'm out on the hunt for new titles.

So far everything has worked flawlessly. I have lots of old DVDS and it has found every one by barcode. The barcode scanner is very fast too! I particularly like the option to add a collection as a single item or as multiple items for each movie in the collection.
I am impressed with the communication from the clz team. They really seem to have their act together for customer support.

I have used many other collection apps, and as I found many others worked for mostly what I was hoping to achieve in the sense of being well organized, easy to use, and up to date while being accurate, this app has it all! So much so I am using all the others CZL has to offer!

A couple of weeks into using this and I’m increasingly blown away by the scale, stability and sheer suppleness of the app. It’s so much better than the text file/spreadsheet combo I’ve been wrestling with for the last 24 years (!)
Packed with features, a lot of which I’d never have even thought to ask for if I’m honest, CLZ Movies is ridiculously easy to use. And it’s turned what could have been tedious drudgery into something bordering on actual fun.

I have been searching high and low for a good movie database, and I found it. This app has it all; easy to add movies with full IMDb support, flexible editing where you can change default data entries, add your own movie posters, backup in CLZ Movies Cloud, export to text/CSV. The only drawback is the subscription model, which I generally dislike. However, the price is not bad and you get a lot for your money! Highly recommended!

We love your software, it’s the only product we have found to do what we need to do in our Media Library.

I love this app! It's intuitive and easy to use. I have a substantial library of discs and digital movies. Scanning the barcodes made creating a catalog fast and easy. Even those I had to enter manually were found and updated automatically. I can export the catalog for others to reference. I created a separate catalog in the app of movies I planned to donate. Super easy to use and sort. I love the cloud backup (with my paid subscription) so I never have to worry about losing my catalogs if I lose my device. App support is quick to respond and patient. The user manual is easy to search and understand. Did I say I love this app?

I have been using CLZ Movies app about ten+ years. I’m one very happy user! Should there been any glitch, the friendly staff will sort it out swiftly. The only one I’ve had was when I had not used the app on my pad for a long time and had to ask for advice. It took just minutes to solve.

I’ve tried a few different apps but this is 100% the best and I mean that. It’s very in depth with what you can do and I love it because of that. It’s cheap as well. I’ve been using the movie app and the gaming one for almost ten years now.

This app has been an amazing way to monitor my movie collection. You can even track movies you've bought from streamers. A prominent digital media influencer turned me onto this and it has been a game changer. Works across various platforms on Android and iOS and phones, tablets, and PCs. Cloud sync keeps everything updated.
A perk is that it helps me not mistakenly make duplicate purchases. I can check in-store or while online shopping before I buy. I pay a small fee for the version I use.

I was buying duplicate movies because of the size of my collection. This makes it foolproof for me to know what I have in my collection. Highly recommend.

This app is very EASY to use. It provides a great deal of useful information.
The highlight for my own personal use case, is that I see the contents of my physical media (DVDs, Blu-Rays, 4K UHDs), as well as my Apple TV purchases & Kaleidescape purchases as well. A great App that I highly recommend!

I have had this app and the program for my tower since CLZ Movies started. I like emailing with requests to add movies not in the data base. I ask how to use the full suite. I receive top level support. I highly recommend this program.

Absolutely the best App for tracking your movies!

Multiple search options allow to locate the movie by actor, year, title, genre, etc. Entries can be easily edited at any time.
Customer service is EXCELLENT: Very quick, competent, and friendly responses.
Overall, this is a great app!

Excellent app to list my BluRay and DVD collection. Simple to add, edit or remove. Hope there's enough space for my 3000 disks...

Great app with lots of ways to keep track of and sort your physical media paid $20 for 1 year to me it's worth it.

App still running good, support is quick to respond and fix any issue you may have, would recommend.

Was looking for an easy was to keep track of my collection of over 1000 movies without needing to type it all in, and heard about this app. Works brilliantly by allowing scanning of bar codes. I got over 1000 scanned in a few hours.

I have used CLZ Movies for more than 10 years now. Good program, good support and works very well with doing the registrations on my Mac, and using my iPad version when selecting and keeping a track of what has been watched and when, at time even some personal comments. I previously used a different version from the same people on my Mac.

I am a DBA by profession and love this app for my extensive DVD/Blue Ray collection. I started with the base app which had about 100 items but then eventually upgraded to unlimited.Some features I have suggested in my work for other applications it is that good.

I have been a proud user of CLZ Books for many years now. I think it must be 20 years at least! I have much more books than DVDs, so until recently I had never thought of using CLZ Movies.
Then the other day I paid for a movie online, just to discover afterwards that I already had in my collection. So I said to myself "I would need something like the CLZ books Mobile App...I check it every time I browse books in a bookshop...it saves me from buying duplicates (yes it happens if you have 1000 + books...), reminds me of authors I like, etc..."
I was sure to find the right app on your website, and yes I did! I am happily putting all my movies inside it.. such an easy and pleasant task...and thanks to the links with IMDB I am learning things that I did not know about movies I love!

User friendly, easy to find movies and sorting them. Also nice when buying movies to see if you already have it. Helps prevent buying doubles.

This cataloguing database is absolutely fantastic. I wasn't sure at first but I had the 7 day free trial after day two I knew it was absolutely worth every penny of the £17.50 a year subscription.
In fact I am so impressed I will be buying the music cataloguing software as well. Keep up the great work absolutely fantastic.

Before I came across a magazine article about movie databases, I had a fairly large collection of 600+ blurays and DVDs that were listed on a piece of paper that I carried in my wallet. The problem was searching and remembering how I listed a movie and so I ended up with about 18 duplicate films, some bought brand new again.
Since joining CLZ I have never looked back. On my device is an incredible search engine that finds the films by even partial names. And since then I have had 1 extra duplicate and that was only because the seller sent it by accident and did not want it back. I now have over 1000 blurays, dvds and 4k titles and not only can see which format they are in but also where I bought them, how much I paid and the containers they came in.
Best of all I can allow access to my collection to friends and family and can trace where my films are at any given time. I am a paid up member until end of 2026 and I very much doubt that I will ever willingly choose to give up subscribing at anytime. Long may you exist as a service and thank you for keeping the app updated with useful features.

This app is a perfect match, not only do I use this program to keep track of which movies I own but also to organize my collection shelf by the year movies were released just by a simple selection.

Very impressed with the app. Extremely easy to use and the after service is excellent. I recommend without doubt the CLZ movies application. I use it on both my iPhone and IPad. Gone are the days looking for a film title and useful that it contains a link to Utube.

I have hundreds of DVD’s and occasionally I have trouble remembering what I already have. This app is a great tool in doing that for me so that I don’t end up purchasing one I already have.

Uncomplicated to use and generous with information. My only regret is, that I didn’t discover this app earlier.
All my films made in my country, which is a little one (Denmark), were included in the movie library.

Fantastic app to keep track of movies and TV Series.

Needed to replace our old app. We have a larger collection, 1764 titles. CLZ's import feature allowed me to select which fields to import from the .csv file. All 1764 titles were imported without a problem.

I never buy duplicates anymore.

The database has saved me money. I use to see good deals then I would purchase them. Then I would get home and already had 2 other copies. Within on my phone I don't make that mistake again.

Software is so helpful for collectors it’s easy to use you can use your mobile to just scan I. Your collection and edit anything you like it’s also very cheap compared to others out there I was so impressed that I also brought the desktop version the staff are very helpful and quick to answer I was very surprised after I encountered a problem with the software on a Saturday afternoon and thought no one will even see it till Monday I was very surprised to see I had a reply within a couple of hours and the problem was fixed.

Amazing app! Very easy to navigate. Well worth the money for any collector. Also, saves the money from accidentally buying duplicates.

I've been a CLZ customer for over 10 years, using the CLZ Movies Android and Windows app's. I have been impressed with the dev team and their constant pursuit to add features and functionality to the full CLZ suite of apps from Movies, Comics, Music, and Books.
When I first started collecting, I thought I would just use a spreadsheet on my own, but a real program to catalogue them fully & update with the latest bits of info is much easier to use and adds a lot of value. Give it a try today.

I scanned some of my rarer movies with several other apps and CLZ was the only one to recognize them. This is the best app if you collect foreign movies.

i’ve tried a few similar apps. What i liked most about this one: - Fastest adding of movies to the library.
I was also able to group the movies by location - for which i used bin ID’s. Since my wife no longer wamted the 300+ dvd’s displayed on shelves i am able to store them in bins.
Anyone can peruse the library and see the bin number that each dvd is located in for easy retrieval.

It helps me to keep track of what movies I have.
