I’ve been with Book Collectors Connect, now CLZ, for many years. Best way to keep a large library of books. I appreciate the ease of use program and the team is readily available whenever you have questions or need help.

Almost perfect but keeps getting better: sounds impossible but it's true. The app is dependable and flexible. It works well whether you choose to capture every detail of a publication or just the basics. I am not an employee, or a relatiive of anyone in the development crew.

I use it all the time to keep track of my books. Definitely recommend it.

Been very happy with this program. I need to be more conscientious about keeping it up to date but it tracks all my books and gives me ability to search, sort and organize as I need.

This app is exactly what I was looking for to catalog my books. I found myself buying duplicates, and decided to go in search of an app that would help me keep track of my books. CLZ Books - library organizer does exactly that and more. I keep books in different rooms in my house, I can note where the books are, mark if I have loaned them out and to who, I can rate them and note when I read them and keep personal notes. It is easy to use, and after initially loading my books, I am able to scan new books easily to add them to the collection. Highly recommend if you have a good amount of books you would like to keep track of.

I was busy adding more books and sorting things out at my house…. I have needed this app for a long time because I just love buying and gifting books, and everybody who knows me gives me books for presents! So I have a lot of them.

Everything is going very smoothly now that I have figured out how the app works, and I just watched a video on the App Store and learned how to add IBN numbers when the code is obscured, so even better! I just rated the app on the App Store and, needless to say, gave it five stars!

I have not yet tried editing, but I will work on that in a few days when I have finished loading in my remaining four stacks of books! (Yes, I am a little bit crazy. At least I know it!). Now that I am mostly retired, I have more time to read and do these kinds of things—it’s really nice.

I should’ve known that such a great app would come from Amsterdam, perhaps my favorite place in the world! Have some poffertjes for me!! I’m still working on my Gouda collection from my annual trip, which was in May this year! Cheese, coffee, and books—my favorite things!

Cataloging my over 1000 book Time Life Library...Lifesaving!.. I've cataloged my Time Life record collection on CLZ as well!

My partner and I have been using CLZ Books to organize our 1,000 plus library since the beginning of November. The upgrade with ISBN character recognition gave us an huge boost just as we were beginning to bog down. The whole app is just wonderfully done. We sent a question to support one evening and had the clear answer the next morning.

I have a lot of books, and I tend to buy those in a certain genre: biography, history, adventure tales about the sea and exploration. Then, when I go in a bookstore and see an appealing book, I would wonder if I already had it and in an excess of caution would often buy it. I knew that I had some duplicates, and this app was great for helping me figure out what I already have and shouldn’t purchase, so I figure that it pays for itself!
I also love that it lets me note where the books are, so that, if I’m looking for a history of Ireland, I know that it’s in my home office. And scanning the books is super fast and easy! I would give this 10 stars if they were an option! I learned about this app from a bookstore and only wish I’d known about it sooner!

I own several hundred first editions and having the list—with condition and price— at my fingertips is huge as I dig through used bookstores whenever I travel. Plus, I don’t know how many times CLZ Books has stopped me from buying a book I already own.

I have over 1200 books and have used a number of catalog apps over the years. CLZ Books does the job of keeping track of my library and gets syncing right. Most importantly (speaking as a software developer) they keep improving the app. It’s tough to make a business of niche software products. These folks have apparently figured out how to make a go of it and they keep improving. Kudos to them!

This app has been phenomenal for me over the last year (& some change)! It was recommended to me by someone who I chatted about books with a lot, after being mentioned in passing as a way she kept her own library (& urge to organize) in check. When I had a big move coming up, I asked her to remind me the details, and if she thought it was worth the subscription costs, and she enthusiastically did so. Despite the recent increase in annual cost, this epic tool has been a life (& wallet) saver!

Flexible database for books very easy in use in your own language.

Al gebruiker vanaf het eerste uur, iets moeilijker bij de start jaren geleden, maar een fantastische manier om je boeken bij te houden.
De meeste van onze boeken zijn oude boeken, 1600-1800 en dat blijft nogal wat werk om alles foutloos in te tikken, of je vind ze niet meer terug, maar toch super, om je collectie op de slaan. Ik ben nu aan ongeveer nr 2000, maar aangezien het veelal meerdere volumes betreft toch al zeker 3000 boeken. Ik ken geen betere manier om alles bij te houden.
Recentere en nieuwe boeken, dat is echt eenvoudig, barcode scannen, pc openen en alles klaar, super toch! Ook alles op je iphone, super om na te kijken op de boekenbeurs wat je al in collectie hebt of niet! Wij zijn daar super tevreden mee, zelfs al vraagt het soms wat werk om de oude boeken te catalogeren.
Ook verplaatsen van collecties, uitprinten, heel veel mogelijkheden.

I've been using CLZ books for years (thank you Kim Komando ) and I love it. When I've had a question or problem Alvin has always been right there online with suggestions and solutions. If only every app was this wonderful.

I have been using this app now for about 3 years to organize my 100’s of sewing books/magazines and sewing patterns. This app has been a Godsend because now all I have to do is look in my app to see if I already have a pattern or book related to whatever I need or want to sew. No more wasted time searching through boxes or shelves for something I may not even have. I sorted my patterns in boxes that are labeled to match the folder for that group of patterns on my CLZ app. I did the same thing for my books and magazines on bookshelves.
LOVE this app and would not want to do without it.

This is so useful!
For someone in his late 50’s trying to type on a screen with big thumbs this feature is a HUGE help! From my perspective, a five-second wait is totally fine because it is still massively faster than my thumbs!
It will also have far fewer typing errors than my thumbs!

I have collected books since I was very young so let's say 45 years. I have started and stopped cataloging my collection at least 10 times over the last 15 years. Created access and excel programs only to give up on it due to it being cumbersome. I have tried other apps over the last couple of years only to lose data along with other issues. This time I did trials on different apps and landed on CLZ Books. This was the best thing I could have purchased for my books.

Super useful for keeping a track of my books. Great to see the active work being done to add new features and improve the app over time too.

This is, by far, the best organization app for my books I've ever used. It pulls resources from every place it's able I've got over 1400 books I've added location labels and sort order. If you're a book lover, the yearly cost is 100% worth it, it's saved me when I had a bookcase collapse!
I've shared this app with family, friends and strangers, I love the online availability, I can create separate lists, sort different ways. I pull up the app while I'm shopping to keep me from buying dups!

I would just like to thank you for your marvelous Book Collector application. It has been a mainstay that helps me manage my book library for many years now. The flexibility is incredible and accomodates my changes in the way I access and use my books. I am about to finish my MA degree and during my school years I used this application to quickly find books on topics I was doing research papers about. It has been a lifesaver!

My wife is the library committee chair for our retirement community and we have used CLZ Books as our catalog for our 1600 books. it gives us many useful tools for this activity. We know what we have in our collections so we can check donations for duplicates. We use it when we order or shop for books to ensure that we don't purchase duplicates and waste our limited funds. The fact that we can see our cloud library on all of our devices makes this available anywhere and for both of us.

Great app for keeping a log of all your books. I love the customization. If you have a movie collection, CLZ also has an app to keep track of that.

I needed to change, the app I was using to record my reading history was letting me down badly and with nearly 1500 books recorded I had to find a way of transferring my records over into a new app. Alwin at CLZ certainly came up trumps, taking me (a very un-techie silver surfer) through the process step by step. This app really works, is very user friendly and seems to do the job I want it to do. Highly recommended.

I love this app! Was looking for a way of keeping track of my books and came across CLZ Books app. And couldn't recommend it hard enough! It is very simple to use for both populating the lists and consulting them.

CLZ makes it so easy to track my book collection in one tab, my 2024 Read in another tab,2023, etc. Used for 3 years now, will Always use it. Also saves me from duplicate purchases as the scanner will tell me if a book is already in my collection just by scanning the back cover code.

This is a great program and huge value for money. We have about 1,500 books loaded up and when in a book store it’s so easy to check if already in the collection. The program is constantly being improved and requests for help are answered within hours. Outstanding service.

After messing about with lots of other apps trying to find the cheapest, most suitable option for my needs, this one just did everything I wanted, well.

I have a couple thousand books that I have collected over the years. Some are reading copies and others are first editions. This app makes it easy to add/remove books from your collection and to organize them all.

These people really know their business. I got the CLZ Books app for a specific purpose, and it is as if they’d read my mind; I later realized that was because the program could do anything within reason one might want to do. The app is quite intuitive and I haven’t needed needed to consult customer support.

CLZ Books regularly gets better and its starting point was excellent. Easy to add new entries and to use with increasing information already available and/or easy to find and to add.

I own a lot of books, and the CLZ app is such a fantastic way to organise my books, know where each book is, view its cover, and avoid duplication. Inputting the books is a cinch too, since most books have barcodes and the app uses the ISIN barcodes to identify the book and ID score to pull out a bunch of information on the book.

I really only use it to keep track of what books I own, so when I'm out I can check this to see if I already own a book before I purchase. It’s great for that purpose.

This is an excellent app. When parred with their Book Connect program it is the best way to catalog your books. I have been using the app and desktop/browser program for 10 years. The product is solitons on the few instances when I needed support they were extremely responsive and helpful. 5 Stars. Do it.

I have a lot of books, and I have been looking for a very long time for a great cataloging app. A friend of mine showed me this one and… Yes. This is it. So easy to use, so easy to add books and create collections, add covers, anything you want to do. I love it I love it I love it.

Use in museum archive and very easy to use!

A really handy app to keep track of my ever increasing book collection. It also allows my family to check if I have a book before they buy any.

The app does a great job of keeping track of my library. It's easy to add books, and to keep everything synced with my CLZ account in the cloud. Great support as well. I recently had an issue with the app (I couldn't add a new book), and the support team worked with me until the problem was resolved.

Started with CLZ on the computer storing all the wife's books in her library, after a few walks back and forth II downloaded mobile app and haven't looked back, easy to scan and upload.

It's not perfect, but it's as close as it gets for what this app does. There is really no good alternative, and it is very robust and moderately user friendly.

The absolute best in book organization!

We have thousands of books. Started using Collectorz for our iphone, but then discovered the desktop version. We are SO IMPRESSED! What a fantastic program.
We are discovering more things about it nearly every day. It is such a fantastic program! We love it. It is going to make our lives so much easier! PLEASE, never close down! We cannot praise everyone enough who has had input into this great program. Keep up the great work!

Outstanding Library Organizational Tool!

I love that I can inventory all my books in one location and sync them to the cloud! Easy to use and add all my books quickly, especially if they have an ISBN. Some of my really old books take longer to add since they don't have an ISBN to type in but it still doesn't take long to add them to the book database. Hopefully, when I am adding them it may help other people to find those books in the future. Of course the ones I'm adding are really really old and probably aren't many of them left.

I’m a long-time user of Music Collector, thought I should finally catalog my book and music score library. That 7-day trial with Book Connect has made data entry much easier. Once I get my collection in, the mobile app will probably serve my purpose. We’ll see!

I first gave 5 stars to this in 2018. In 2024, it still delights. If I could give more I still would now. Such a useful app which is constantly being improved.
I have had occasion to contact them a couple of times and they have always been courteous, friendly and immediately helpful. I can thoroughly recommend.

Ótimo aplicativo para organizar sua coleção de livros, realizar registros de leituras e também é possível obter diversas informações através dos filtros, que podem ser criados e combinados até em 3 níveis de acordo com os critérios do leitor, por exemplo: "Ano de Leitura/Autor" (ver os autores que foram lidos em cada ano de leitura) ou "Ano de Leitura/Gênero/Autor" (ver primeiro o ano de leitura, em seguida quais gêneros foram lidos em cada ano e em seguida os autores). Vale muito a pena!

Been using this app for over 10 years. Don't know what I would do with out it. Great app very customizable keeps alot of info.

I like this app. It’s simple, but it gets the job done. I love that it allows you to download your list of owned books (in multiple formats) so they can me uploaded to other apps that track reading statistics. There is a subscription option for those who want backup cloud storage too. I had an issue with my cloud account, but when I emailed for support, I was helped immediately. The agent was extremely, kind, helpful, and quick in helping me.

Best for what it is. Could use a little more organization/refining for vintage books and different editions of the same book. But I have to update a whole lot less than comparable apps.

Thank you for allowing me to spin the pie chart at the bottom of the statistics page - 10/10 app, does as advertised, my only suggestion would be to add a more satisfying beep sound when you scan an isbn:)
