I’m helping my husband catalog the comics he has so he doesn’t accidentally buy duplicates. He’s really happy with it. He doesn’t really need editing or anything — he actually just likes to read the comics (like from the 70s and 80s) and then give them away. It’s a great app.

It has a scan feature that does not miss. Very surprising and allows me to have my inventory on hand and how the market for each comic is. Loving it thus far.

I started using the app about two years ago now in order to just inventory my books and it has been great for that purpose. However, I recently decided I might want to sell some of my collection and that is when I found out the app is also great for letting me know which books are going up or down in value as well as letting go to the cgc site so I can see how many copies of each grade there is for whichever issue I’m thinking about selling. It is a great multipurpose app in my opinion.

If you are collecting - you need this. While it is helpful on many levels, one particularly useful benefit is to be able to check the app on my phone and make sure I haven’t already purchased a comic before. Before I had the app I would end up with multiple duplicates. This solves that and much more.

I have a large varied comic collection and the CLZ application was easy to use and to organize my collection.

Easy to use, fast, saves me time. My only goal was to create a DB of my old comics. This gave me all of that and so much more. I didn't even know what I had, this showed me the value (other than my memories of enjoying comics) I possibly have. For now (with the right frame) this has pinpointed new artwork for my walls. The app has a really good cover scanner and as a collector, the app makes it really easy to find which comics you’re missing and a particular run.

I downloaded mobile for a free trial and had purchased mobile and web within hours after seeing what this app can do. I added on the covr price feature which is tremendously helpful in determining what to buy, sell, or grade. The customer service is unparalleled. Had a question that was resolved with a very informative back and forth.

Allows you to add photos for rare comics that may not be listed already & add/edit your comics when needed. They store everything to your CLZ cloud account & has basic detail info on the comics you scan in. FYI: It works best in good lighting when you are scanning in comics.

the absolute best. easy to scan and organize. Affordable and no annoying ads or forced payments you keep track of your comics without having to sift through your long boxes or shortbox. heavily recommended.

Unbelievably useful. Adding books by scanning cover or barcode is ridiculously quick and efficient. So far only a few books that are not in database. Information already in database is great but also allows adding personalised info such as storage box, purchase price, “signed by” or customised tags. Really useful for organising collection esp for differentiating variants and different volumes. Cool features such as: ability to separate “on order” “for sale” and “wish lists” - great for keeping track of changes in your collection; and recording CGC slab numbers that link directly to CGC verify database. Not used Covr Price link as not sure how useful pricing is for those outside of US, but is an option if you want it (for extra subscription). Overall, a great way to catalogue and manage your collection.

Very easy to use interface. Helps speed through uploading. Also a very helpful and quick responsive support team.

It is so helpful for keeping all my runs/volumes organized and I love the "scan the cover" feature for when the barcodes are being fussy.

CLZ comics is a godsend! I’ve been collecting for almost 50 years and had tried all manner of databases since the mid 90s. A great app for the serious collector. The lists that they maintain are usually complete and up to date. But by far one of the bests parts of this app are the developers and support team. If you find something missing, incomplete, or even just have a question, emailing the support team results in an almost immediate response and update to the database. No waiting until the next release or update with this team. By far the best support I have ever seen in an app.

This is the only review I have ever wrote for an app. CLZ makes it extremely easy to catalog, sort, and view my collection. I really enjoy that my slabbed comics have a CGC border look in the app as well. I am more of a comic reader with a 10 percent collector vibe, and using “find missing comics” is such a great way to find issues and covers I don’t have.
Im sure there is even more CLZ offers, but the features I use are more than enough for me. Give it a shot if you love comics and want to catalogue your treasure trove.

Have been using this app for close to a decade at this point . It’s ability to catalog issues , giving the user options to not only scan barcodes but manually enter and search is hands down a million times better than an excel sheet and the old notebook. Its cooperation with partner apps like cover price allowing to track pricing and market conditions is a massive help as well as notating which issues are minor or major keys. Hands down the only subscription and comic app you need for your collection!!! A true gem mint in the comic collecting world.

I bought this product to organize my collection for a quick sale and paid the extra subscription to help with the pricing. The scanning went well probably 90% of the time with my interventions being mostly limited to selecting between editions when the app didn’t choose correctly, or at all. I would say that this exceeded my expectations and the experience was excellent. The pricing app was highly dependent on the grade the app auto assigned to the comic, and was mainly useful to me (not having any real high priced comics) in letting me know a general ranking of which comics were worth selling individually or not. I got more actual utility in the details of then looking at actual sales in eBay. App is a def recommend, just putting some specifics out too.

I use clz to track what books I own and can scan barcodes or search by names. They have almost all comics in their catalog . Even old comics are in their library- you can add to it also.

This is an awesome app for tracking comics. I love that I can add comics using images or scanning the bar code. The wish list feature is great too; perfect to reference when you're at the comic shop. Being able to set default values for scans is also pretty cool.

This app is a must have for anyone that collects comics. There are so many different ways to view your collection and adding new books is very simple. This app has given me such a better understanding of my collection as a whole. I truly suggest this app to people who collect all the time. Been using this app for several years now. Quick and easy to use it allows me to quickly add new comics each week and avoid duplicates when fleshing out the back catalogue. For many years my memory was enough but now there’s too many to recall and with so many variant editions I just couldn’t keep on top. The integration with cover price is good too but is a significant cost more though totally optional.

It’s so easy to find comics in my collection and, even more importantly, I can quickly find what comics I need. Very handy at conventions when you’re flipping through a bin. This app was recommended to me by a guy I was talking to in an antique store looking for comics. I made the comment I couldn’t remember what books I had and what I didn’t. He told me to download this app and I wouldn’t regret it. You can scan barcodes and/or the covers and it’s super fast. I’ve just cataloged a hundred books in about 20 minutes.

This app has helped me when I go comic hunting by using cover art, displaying missing comics in runs I want to complete. So much easier to organize my collection and to remember what I have and what I don't. Thanks to this app I have been able to even save money by not buying duplicates over time.

For all you comic collectors out there, this is the best app for managing your collection. It lists all the variants and different printings of a given book. You can sort by a variety of topics(artists, writers, the list goes on) . The customer service is 2nd to none. They address whatever issues you might have and respond quickly.

This is an outstanding app, I love it! The performance and look and feel is professional grade. It is so quick and easy to scan into the database. I had 1400+ silver age comics, and got them entered and organized in hours, not days. Every possible attribute can be edited, and the scanning sets very reasonable defaults. Whether you are a buyer/seller, or just like your collections well-organized, this app is worth every penny.

The app makes it easy to add books, add notes or details about a book, and links to a source that allows it to pull in values. Love this app! I have been collecting comics books for many years and this app enables me to easily gain knowledge about my collection. Knowledge on minor and major keys, knowledge on most owned characters, writers and illustrators, and knowledge on book values. Statistics can be updated at anytime with a simple click.
The app also helps me organize what I own, what I want and what I’ve read. A++

This app has made organizing my comic book collection easy. I have over 21 Long boxes to input. I love that you can snap a picture and enter the comics. Also, there is an add-on if you want to use cover price within the app. Keep up the good work.

For a number of years, I have used CLZ on my iPhone and on web browsers - both my Mac at home and my PC at work (with the browser-based version being a second subscription that can be bundled with this app for a discounted total). This is the best app for my needs that I have ever found.
The problem with some apps is that they do not allow enough customization. This app has a lot of flexibility. Even if you start organizing your comics one way and then realize that you need to change something, CLZ has got you.
Also, the developers are the nicest and most customer service friendly people I have ever dealt with. No question or request is too small. They really listen to us - the app users. They are continuously making the app better - based on an ongoing list of requests from the customers - not something you see from every app. They literally come out with some cool feature every month or so and usually there is one or two significant changes every year. At some point, they are going to run out of things to improve - because it's already great!
Well, as you can tell, I could go on and on. CLZ is an app that I will surely subscribe to and treasure for the rest of my life.

I have about 650 raw comics and 50 or so graded. I love how easy it is to just scan my comics into my collection, either by barcode or cover. I can then add additional info like grade, grading company, purchase price/date, etc. Very flexible. When I sell it I can add my sell price/date and move it to “sold” but it always stays visible if I want to refer back to it.
Also, the direct connection CLZ offers to COVRPRICE lets me see my collection’s value as well as individual issues. It’s the perfect combination of an easy way to catalog my collection as well as value it and update as needed!

I wish I knew how many years I have used CLZ. More than ten at least. Or that is how it feels. No other database, app, or fly by night operation will ever be as complete as CLZ. I remember having the CLZ version for Books and Movies. Anyway, CLZ is by far everything you will need to be able to catalog your collection. Over the years they have made so many improvements that it is unrecognizable from when I started with CLZ. The UI continues to get better. The layouts, added features, and the non-stop updates are what makes it the Industry standard for any collector. I suggest making two collections, One your owned comics, and the other what you need. These as separate folders will help immensely. And use the features, CLZ can do a lot and when you start utilizing its powerful database your collection will start to manage itself. Honestly the only thing I am waiting for is when CLZ connects your collection cover images as a rotating Wallpaper for desktop or laptops.

To be honest I bought the PC version first and blasted through 500+ comics using the barcode scanner. Then synced it to the cloud and bought this app and there you have it. My whole collection available by my geeky hands.

Super convenient app for cataloging and keeping track of all of my books.

The painstaking work that goes into this app astounds me. It benefits the comic community greatly. Almost every book you can think of is in here, making cataloguing very easy. You can separate collections, connect to CVRprice for value, and change views to see your collection how you like. Adding notes is fun, especially to say if the book is signed. For $20 a year you cannot beat it.

I have my entire 4,000+ comic book collection organized on the app, and I also have the CovrPrice subscription so I can see up-to-date pricing/value data for all of my books. The cover scanner is awesome for both logging comics & pricing new ones. Super thankful to the team for all their hard work!

Thanks for offering this to us. I used to use index cards and multi ring binder as a "hard copy" ever since the 90's. This app allows you to be mobile with your collection, to share with others or to have that instant access to all of it, what it looks like, it's value and where to go to add to it. It is very handy if you are at the comic shop and you are looking through back issue bins. You can just pull up the app to figure out which issues you are after. It also works well for new issues too. As many variant covers there are these days, the app has every issue with all the variant covers listed. I'm not sure what I'd do without it! It also has functions that let you keep track of signed books and if you have them slabbed, down to having the various labels cgc uses.

I started collecting as a kid in the 60s and then again in the 90s. Now that I’m nearing 70 I wanted to track my collection and CLZ made a daunting task super fun and easy. Thanks CLZ!

This is quite frankly an awesome app. You can easily manage your comic books. You scan by barcode or even cover image. I find the cover image extremely helpful for older books and I’ve never had an issue related to the barcode scanner for current comics.

CLZ is hands down the best software out there for managing your comic collection. Has tons of features, and is super customizable to suit a specific person's needs. The CLZ Core is a great database that has almost every comic you would ever need... but if it is missing one, just contact CLZ and they will add it!
I use this app multiple times a day, and would be lost without it. HIGHLY recommend it for a new or long-time collector alike!

The best feature is scanning a cover and the comic pops into your collection on the app. That’s just the beginning of what it can do, but that’s my favorite part of it. The admins are a big help if you need help, too. Worth every penny!

I have been a user of CLZ Comics for over 10 years now and it’s revolutionized my collection habits. I have a large collection with tens of thousands of comics and it’s impossible to keep track of what’s in by memory or with a piece of paper. With CLZ Comics there are no more hand written lists and no more worrying about buying two copies of the same book. Everything is managed right there my phone and backed up on the cloud. I especially enjoy how complete the database is with variants, international and exclusive issues being perfectly catalogued and easy to find. Adding comics with the newer cover photo feature saves additional time when searching for obscure titles. Finally, I highly recommend using the additional Cover Price valuation service available through the CLZ Comics app. Values are listed base on recent actual sales giving the collector an almost real time understanding of the market and current hot issues. I truly love this app and highly recommend even for the casual collector.

This is by far the best comic collecting app. It’s updated weekly, has the largest database of variants, and is run by Alwin who actually cares and has a team of developers making constant improvements. You won’t find anything more customizable! And the cvrprice integration is worth the extra subscription cost!

Love knowing what I have and which issues are needing replacement. This app has the latest covers and has a staff that works like crazy to fix issues or help out those that are not quite tech savvy.

We definitely find scanning the covers easier and more accurate, at least on my mobile, than the barcodes. We had some of our collection labeled incorrectly but CLZ was right 90 percent of the time. Thanks!

Easy to use and was even able to identify books on angles and at distances. I’d been collecting comics for almost 35 years before I found this app & it has been a game changer for me. Previously using spreadsheets, this app dragged me into the 21st century & has made my comic collecting life so much easier. The ease of which to just simply take a picture & all of the relevant information being to hand is a godsend & such a simple to use app for older folk. Collating comics into folders & still being able to export & share, all in one place is brilliant & also the upgrade with Covrprice, for me, is just perfect. Couldn’t recommend highly enough & also, the helpdesk service is second to none.

Well worth the money. I also made an error by deleting hundreds of comics. The staff had backed up everything, and I could therefore pull my entire list from the cloud. Lastly, their response was very quick. Very satisfied with their service.

CLZ is my go to app for comic organizing and cataloging. I have yet to integrate or purchase the COVERPRICE feature (it’s another add on), but my fellow collectors say that it is worth it.

This App Saves Lives...and Money! Few things are worse than buying duplicates of anything and I had been looking for months for something to keep track of my comics, without having to put up with inventory spreadsheets. I’ve tried a lot of comic collection apps and programs, but this by far meets my needs the best. That’s partially because with its many fields and methods of filtering and sorting, I can make it meet my needs. More importantly, though, the development team is responsive and is constantly working to improve it, communicating with users about what’s happening. It’s fun and exciting to use!

This is the absolute best comics app that there is. Creating a database of all your books, purchase price, date purchased, storage location, who wrote, drew, inked, edited each book, it’s all in there. If you find a book not in there core database you let them know it gets added pretty right away. When you link it with covr price, you get the most up to date fair market values for your collection. This is the premiere comics app. You will not be disappointed with this app. This is the one you have been looking for.

I have had over 400 comics in my collection but never organized them. I wanted a way to keep track and have an easy to access record when out buying more. CLZ does a great job and I love the scan feature to add one in easily and quickly. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been using the CLZ Comics app to catalog my collection and it has been fantastic. So far I’ve entered nearly 2,400 comics and the process is surprisingly fast and easy. The scanning and lookup features make adding books simple, and the database is incredibly comprehensive.
The interface is clean and the app makes it very satisfying to organize and browse your collection once everything is in. It’s also great to have my entire collection accessible on my phone at any time.
Every once in a while the app will select the wrong variant cover, so you do need to pay a little attention when adding books. But that’s a minor issue and easy to correct.
Overall, this is a great app for comic collectors. If you’re serious about organizing your collection, CLZ Comics is absolutely worth using.

I was looking for something that I could quickly upload my collection basically to organize and sell off some issues. I have over 4000 comics and using this app to upload is a breeze by snapping the cover photo and it is a very fast search , take the photo, click add, take next photo it’s almost that seemless and has options for variants multiple prints to make the quick adjustment. Awesome app.

I highly recommend CLZ Comics. I have been using this app for a number of years. It’s updated regularly to make it even better. I was able to input my collection of over 10,000 comics easily when I first got the app. It’s incredibly simple to add new comics. I like that it shows missing comics in a series or my wishlist so that I can remember what I want when the opportunity arises. Can look up by characters, writers, artists - the information is vast and you can add your own. Love the optional ability to value my collection. And it’s all on my phone but backed up on the web.

I had over 20,000 books sitting in my basement. My wife said “get rid of them or I’m calling my attorney” (well kinda), they had to go. I opened a few long boxes, checked on book one to see what they were worth and was surprised to find the books were actually worth real money. I post a couple on eBay , and they sold.
Ok, so how do I get rid of all these books? I needed a way to organize then. After a little research I found CLZ. At first it was tedious entering the books. As a early user, the app still had ease of use issues. However, the incredible staff continued to improve the application. It is now scary how easy it is to catalog, organize, track, and value your books.
If you have a collection that needs to be organized this is THE app. Truly a great tool. And, they keep improving. Yes the price has gone up a little but it’s worth every cent. Love the scanning, and sales tracking. Yes, I still have tons of books, but the wife has taken her attorney off speed dial!

The subscription is more than worth the peace of mind of knowing exactly what you got.
Being able to organize them into different folders and types “collection, for sale, wishlist” etc. is honestly so smooth!
If you’re tired of writing things out or filling out some god awful spreadsheet for your collection this is really your only option.
Funny thing is, I’ve barely scratched the surface of functionality!

Got my whole collection logged and organized with price tracking on all of them. It even helped me find out a couple of books to sell online. super easy to scan all my comics in (i recommend barcode scanning as it's quicker) and the cover scanning gives you tons of options to choose from to make sure you're logging the correct book.

Was a little overwhelmed at first and still getting to learn all the features of it but wow is awesome keeps everything i need in order. Definitely will be using this service for as long as I have comics.

I am still old school and keep a hard copy, but unlike CLZ, I still make mistakes. I was just off by 2, two days ago, and I already fixed it. I have CLZ now for at least 7 years. It's such a great tool to have when you have over 8500 comics. I highly recommend getting it if you don't have it.

This app is perfect! It provides one place for me to access my collection at any time. I am able to use it on my iPhone and I am able to access my collection on any computer. The company is excellent at constantly updating and improving their product. So far it has performed flawlessly. I highly recommend this app.

I am really enjoying the app. It works very well and I have had no issues. I am amazed how easy it is to add comics to collection. I already have over a thousand scanned in. It found every comic I had in your database. I love the look on the iPad and it’s nice seeing my entire collection without going into boxes.

I use this app to help track my collection. Keeping it stored locally helps me quickly look up issues I’m missing so I can make sure I’m not double dipping. I also like the ability to sync with CovrPrice so I can manage my collection in two locations.

Wow. I was all Key Collector for awhile but once I learned how to use this the 8.99 for CVR price and tracking all the prices super worth it. If you do comic Spec this is the app.

By far the easiest, most user friendly collection app there is. So many sorting and searching options to customize viewing your collection. The ability to put in as much or as little information as you wish is also nice. Adding books could not be any easier than it is with this app. The cover scan option alone for adding new books is the best I’ve seen. I highly recommend this app for any serious collector. No more note books, pads, or spreadsheets required!
