It keeps tabs on all your collection and it's easy to add and remove comics using the barcode scanner or entering manually, to add I recently change my phone and had forgotten what email I had used for my: CLZ account! customer service helped me out and my account was up and running again in no time! Thanks again for the help! This app is definitely worth the money and again would highly recommend it to any collector.

This is an amazing app to have. I started seriously trying to collect only a few years ago, but summer of 2018, my collection got to the point of me not being able to keep track of what I had and what I didn’t have, like a lot of people. CLZ was the first app that popped up when I looked for a database type app for the collection and it’s been amazing. If by chance you find a comic they don’t have, they work with you to get it added, so it will appear in your database.

I’ve had this app for a couple of years now and it has literarily changed my comic collecting life. No more buying comics I already have or having to look at sheets of paper with hand written wish lists. Everything is in one place and well organized. And the one time I had an issue with my app customer service fixed it within a couple of hours. Highly recommended!

It is addicting for me since I love keeping my comics in order. So this app is great.

I have over 3,000 digital comics and TP and keeping them all straight and making sure I do not purchase an issue I already have in a TP or some where else can be a real pain but this makes it a lot easier. I was trying to do it on my own but once I found this app it has and will save me time and money. At this point I wish there was a way to automatically tag issues that are in a trade so you do not have to go hunting them down as well. Also the up front price of $15.00 is not bad but over the years it can add up. I would like the option to pay a set amount for a lifetime of the app that includes any updates.

This is a great way for me to keep my comics in order. So I don't buy doubles or forget what I need when I get to my friendly neighborhood comic shop (shout out to Memory Lane Comics!!!)

It helps me organize all my comics, figure out how much everything is worth and more helpful little detailed tools and perks than any of the other apps ive used so far. I paid the membership fee after the trial and say its worth every penny. Also the barcode scanner is accurate so it makes the input of new and old comics so easy to upload.

Makes cataloging your collection faster and easier. Very accurate on which issue cover you have, and also gives volume information.

Only one I've ever paid for and really a value. Essential for any comic collector, your entire collection at your finger tips, no more buying the same issue twice accidently. Great for identifying mulitiple covers, variants etc. Waited my whole collecting life this perfect tool.

There is not a single comic I haven’t found in this app, and when I had issues with my account, customer support got back to me within 30 minutes and fixed my issue. If you need something to keep track of your comic collection, this is the best option!

I am a comic book reviewer and fan and have hundreds of comic books and have been wanting to catalog them all and this app made it SO easy to do it! I love that all I have to do is scan the barcode and BAM there is the book and cover and I can catalog them by typing in the box number they are in as well as group them! Such an awesome app and worth the $5 a year subscription to have everything cataloged digitally. If I want to know what box a specific issue is in I just click the photo of it and all the info is right there with it! Very cool.

Best app for cataloging my books, helps me keep track and see what I need!

I can upload my comics within a minute using the barcode scanner. I love how you can see the different variants as well. This helps my OCD and I can even organize my comics in groups if I want. As well, I can add comics I plan on purchasing, ones I want to buy, and I can even mark if I have read the comic. If the site doesnt have a comic, as I have found with a few, I can manually add including picture of the comic. I am so glad I found this app.

I've used other apps and they are by all fail compared to CLZ.

I've been using the full pro version for quite some time now, and I've really come to rely on this app. I highly recommend it. Added Nov. 16, 2019: The mobile version is working very well for me, too, both on New Comics Wednesdays (I track my preorders at my LCS) and especially at conventions and back-issue bins.

Best thing to happen to comic collecting in decades!

I'm still learning about all of the options and ways to sort, but so far it's great! When it comes to sorting books, the more options the better and there is more than enough in here. Loving it so far.
Anyway, thanks for the app. Week one, digging through dollar bins has already been super easy by checking my comic book runs, and I'm not even done adding my whole collection yet!

Great application, especially with the addition of comic values. The annual subscription price is worth the content. Just saved me a ton of time. I love it!!

I downloaded this app and used the trial version. It definitely sold me on wanting an annual subscription. I was at a comic store when I finally decided to make the purchase - only for the app to not recognize my subscription. Frustrating. Later that night I decided to email customer support right before bed, 1104pm. I went to bed. At 352 am I received a response and everything was fixed - how’s about that!
As for the app, it’s so satisfying to be able to get to the house after a run to the store and scan each of your books in before you even read them. And when you’re ready, you can go into the weeds of things to note which are signed, rate the title and other things. Excellent app!

Thanks for all of the activity lately. i don't have any of my books slabbed or rated, but I see the new functionality as a way of determining which books I should spend money on to get appraised and slabbed.

To-date I've added approx. 8,000 comic books and another 500 combination of graphic novels, hard covers & any comic related publication in my possession. This process took just about 6 = I kid you not .. so freaking easy, so freaking detailed once entered & so freaking awesome ! The printable spreadsheets look so good & i received many compliments about the formatting alone. Recently a grading section added plus more options I can't wait to review . My sincerest thanks.

This app is a lifesaver when I'm looking through back issue bins and can't remember if I've already bought an issue. The barcode scanner is very handy when I buy a bunch of trades and want to enter them into the database quickly.

Don’t let the reviews from people that didn’t read the details during the app update dissuade you from getting it.
Though I’m grandfathered in the subscription price is still hardly anything if you are even a semi-serious collector (it’s the cost of a comic or two). I don’t really need the slabbed comic pricing, but I’m still tempted to try it out for a year. I’m still floored by the people grandfathered in and complaining about the new subscription cost *shrug*.
Anyway, I have roughly 1,500 comics catalogued, and using stuff like the Wishlist when I’m checking out thrift shops or garage sales makes this hobby much easier.
Try it out for a month. You’ll see, and then will upgrade for the year :-)

Have your wantlists and have lists with you at all times. I have yet to search for a book that isnt in the database. Tons of information about each issue, and tons more open fields for you to customize. Youll be glad you got this!

Have been using the app for about a week after an online database I’d been using for 12 years announced they were closing shop.
CLZ is an excellent replacement and improvement upon what I had been using.

-Easy to barcode-scan new issues into the collection quickly and accurately.
-Auto syncing between mobile app and cloud-based counterpart.
-Deep database of comics and magazines from all Ages
-Excellent customer support! Emails responded to within 24 hours and efforts made to assist.

Suggested improvements:
-Improved interoperability between mobile and cloud app. Currently when adding a new entry to cloud app, all information is synced to mobile app with exception of the cover art.
-Ability to move/re-size windows around the screen. Currently when you open a new window it stays in place and you cannot view the window behind it. (This pertains to cloud-based app only)

Overall, I feel this app is quite worth the investment and I expect improvement and further refinements are on the way.

Amazing app to keep track of my comic issues, trade paperback comics and hardcover edition comics and more. Love that I'm able to scan the barcode to add something to my collection for those few times it doesn't find what I'm wanting to add by searching via typing it out. Also like that I can sync it with cloud program.

Best collecting app ever!!!

This app has everything I need as a collector. I can scan my comics in using the barcode scanner, I can enter the grade of my slabs to get a value (based off of what it has recently sold for online) and the app inventories my books by issue and alphabetical order, not to mention the fact that it uploads the cover art as well. The customer service is some of the best I have dealt with, as long as they are awake you are sure to receive a quick response.

If you ever want to know how good a company truly is, then have a problem with their product. This happened to me with CLZ Comics after years of using the app without a hitch and my experience was phenomenal. Alwin worked with me until the issue was resolved, while he was heading out on a trip! As I have said before, as a collector, this app is an absolute must. Worth every penny! And now I can rave about the help when you have an issue.

Love this app. Scans barcodes, logs, gives issue cover art, etc. Only two complaints. Sometimes won't scan older barcodes at all, or correctly. Cost of app is annually and a little high. Im willing to pay simply because i have thousands of comics, growing monthly, and this makes keeping track easy.

So far I am loving this app, took me a couple mins to figure out but when I did I was able to make a efficient check list of books I had and books I want I also like the fact that you can scan the barcodes of the books to add them and find more information on then.

I travel and can update my collection anywhere I am.

The CLZ app is working great so far.

After getting my collection all scanned in I know what I have and Im missing.

So far, easy to use with barcode scanner. Can even search my collection for specific writers, artists, or even some events that ran through multiple series. Still trying it out and figuring out how to annotate for signed issues. Worth the price.

Best all Around Database for colleccting comics!

As an avid comic book collector, I use this app constantly and it is especially critical when attending shows as I can see what I’m looking to get with the Wish List view. More than once, this has saved me from buying the same issue twice (at the same show!). Love, love this app and the incredibly responsive support I’ve received from Alwin and his team.

The time it has saved me, is just ridiculous! And the way it catalogues is awesome, where it auto sorts alphabetically, but also tells me which numbers in a series I have, LOVE IT!

Fantastic customer service! Alwin was a ton of help with the issue I had. For some reason, my database and cloud got wiped out, Alwin was able to restore it! 100% need to purchase this product. Tried it for the first 100 copies (free version). Loved it! Bought this version and music version for my wife.

Love my Clz comics app. It allows me to check on issues I have when I am out and about and makes sure that I don't miss issues. Easy to use handy to upload data and also use with the online and desktop versions.

Hands down the best catalog app out there.

I used to use my notes to track my collection. This app is a far better alternative with an easy to use interface. It puts together a comprehensive database with some fields pre-filled and other field that are customizable. I now use this and the CLZ Games app and am considering the CLZ Movies app. Great customer service with quick responses and the app is kept up-to-date with iOS and comics. I highly recommend it.

Your quick response and the fact the app does everything I want has made me a customer, will be purchasing the app after my trial.

I finally had to get my collection under control and organized. This is the best app I’ve found so far to get this done. Also had to deal with a subscription issue. Technical support was very quick to respond and made sure my issue was resolved. If you want an app that works well and also has great support this is the app. One suggestion is adding raw comic book pricing. I know raw comic prices are very dynamic, but including raw prices would help in estimating the general overall value of the collection. Would make this app even better.

So far i am very happy with your product. I do not do much of my collecting and filing in the summer but as the weather changes and i have more time i will be adding the other 18 long boxes to my collection. I have been collecting since i was a child and this is the first time i have ever tried to put them in a list. Your software has been very useful.
I am on a computer / phone at least 10 hours a day between work and leisure, and your software is on of the easiest to use.

I have been using CLZ for a couple of months. It is an amazing app! There have been a few issues with the app but the support team is top notch and got me sorted out in just a few hours.

This app has made collecting so much easier. By having my entire collection catalogued I no longer need to guess what I am missing or what cover I had for a given issue. The scanner makes adding new issues each week simple!

I love Book Collector. You've done a great job of modifying it over the years to be exactly what I want. (I'm looking forward to the illustrator field so much!)
I'm here today, though, to rhapsodize about Comic Connect. It has such a comprehensive database of material already uploaded that I have only had to hand-enter five or six comic books out of nearly 1300. It has an intuitive and easy-to-manipulate interface. There has been literally nothing I'd want to change about it.

Many thanks to the folks at CLZ for their continuous improvement approach to their app. The addition of easily updated comic values enables me to quickly identify “Keys” within my collection for grading and slabbing, helps me avoid accidental doubles purchases when I fall behind on reading, and makes it easy to identify available variant covers.

If you collect comics then you know the chore of logging in books and keeping track of your collection. This is the remedy! Scan the book and BAM! You’re done. ‘Nuff said.

So far, this app lives up to it's billing. I've been able to inventory and manage my collection with relative ease. The only complaint is that, in some cases, manually adding comics can be clunky especially if comics have shifted between publishers. Overall, however, this is a great app and worth the price. Well done.

Switched to CLZ from ComicBase. Didnt have the best customer service with CB over the years. I was also using CLZ but not full time but with comic values now I have made the change!!

The ease of scanning, cloud-syncing and notations are the best. One thing to ask for. My collections are spread over 50-60+ long boxes. I'd like to be able to search by box (each are labeled). Keep up the good work! Update 9/27/2019: I'm redoing my collection and the new updates have made entering my comics so much faster. Thanks from a charter member.

Adding books both through the barcode scanner or by searching work really well, and the app is pretty convenient to use. Their customer service was also able to react to and fix an issue regarding the comic values visibility of a certain book quickly.

An Amazing App for Comic Books!

People rating this app one star for the implementation of a subscription model have no idea what it costs in both time and money to maintain an application with a database such as this. If you dont like that they give you a bunch of cool features to make cataloging your collection easy, and for a fairly reasonable price I might add, then go back to spreadsheets. CLZ Comics makes comic cataloging a breeze. Especially with the barcode scanning tool.

To start with the most obvious, the price. Yes, it’s not cheap compared to most apps. But I have won all my money back and more in not buying doubles anymore because of not always carrying (and updating) paper lists. I always have my phone with me when shopping, and always check what I have and what I wish on the go.
The database behind the tool is amazing! I collect a lot of less mainstream comics and out of my collection of around 15.000 comics, I’ve had to manually add less than 50 comics. But please, complete the Paleo series ... An easy way to update the actual database from the app would be great, bolstering the power of the community to make it even more complete.
The online version is a great help too, allowing me to export lists and publish my collection to sellers/buyers/friends.
There are always small things that can be improved. And it’s great to see regular updates with new content. For example, I’m getting ready to start adding grades to my comics so I can check on the go if a copy is better than what I already have at home.
Overall, highly recommended!
