Collectorz has one of the best customer support I ever used! On top of that, all 3 products I use (since 2002) are excellent (Book, Music, and Movie)!!! I wish that was a more prevalent practice in the marketplace.

I'm friends with a few other collectors here and there, and trust me, I'm not going to be able to recommend your software enough. I don't care about the software at this point...that's totally secondary. What I think is amazing is the level of care and communication you've exhibited to a total stranger.

Ik gebruik Book-, Movie-, en Music Collectorz. Hoewel niet echt een verzamelaar, bezit ik vrij veel boeken, DVD's en LP's/CD's. Bezig zijnde een database op te zetten in Excel en in een ander Engelstalig programma kwam ik op internet opeens Book Collectorz tegen. Na uitproberen was ik verkocht. Een aantal jaren geleden waren de programma's nog niet zo geavanceerd, maar er viel goed mee te werken. Daarom heb ik ook de andere programma's gekocht. Er zijn hier intussen interessante uitbreidingen in aan gebracht.
Veel van mijn boeken en platen stammen uit de jaren 60 en vielen onder de noemer "underground", een aantal heeft zelfs nog geen ISBN-nummer. Zoeken via de programma's gaf weinig response, maar via internet is er een hoop te vinden, afbeeldingen kon ik scannen en teksten via een OCR-programma in de verzameling opnemen. Omdat ik een streepjescodescanner heb,geven de nieuwere boeken en CD's helemaal geen probleem.
Op het gebied van DVD's en Blue rays, is het programma onovertroffen. Zoeken via het programma levert een schat aan gegevens op, die ik handmatig nooit zou vastleggen. De nieuwe versie van Music Collector bevalt goed, omdat je nu via de lijst de nummers van een CD of LP (voor zover aanwezig) afgespeeld kunnen worden. Dit scheelt weer enige klikken.

Mijn kasten heb op een bepaalde manier ingedeeld in een aantal locaties. Als ik iets in een van de programma's opneem geef ik een locatienummer mee. Ik ben nu na enige jaren bijna klaar met de inventarisatie. De voordelen zijn duidelijk. Er is direct antwoord op de vraag of ik een bepaald boek, PC/LP of film heb, en waar die staat. Het is zelfs mogelijk aan te geven of het in bestelling is of je ernaar op zoek ben. Zoeken op bepaalde onderwerpen is mogelijk, evenals lijsten maken.
Met andere woorden: de programma's maken het leven een stuk lichter.

Sinds 2 jaar zijn we de Collectorz-producten Movie Collector (voor ons film- en DVD-archief van ruim 1500 video's), Book Collector (voor onze boekenkast) en Music Collector (voor onze CD-verzameling) gaan gebruiken op onze WINDOWS-PC. We weten nu wat we in huis hebben. De Android-versie voor Movie Collector die we ook gebruiken, heeft nu nog alleen raadpleegmogelijkheden, maar daar komt binnenkort verandering in.

Als gebruikers zijn we zeker tevreden: de producten zijn duidelijk van dezelfde 'familie', snel, gebruikersvriendelijk en worden regelmatig voorzien van nieuwe opties. Succes met de productontwikkeling!

Ik ben een gebruiker van het eerste uur, tenminste dat vermoed ik. Mijn start was met Music Collector, naast het vastleggen van de data, vond ik het zinvol om lijstjes uit te draaien, (als naslagwerk, dat hoeft tegenwoordig niet meer vanwege de komst van de iPhone Apps) Mijn 2e aankoop betrof Movie Collector en hierna Book Collector en natuurlijk vanaf dag één de iPhone Apps inclusief Barry en uiteraard ben ik gebruiker van CLZ Cloud. Als early gebruiker heb ik dan ook de gehele evolutie van de diverse programma's meegemaakt, zondermeer de moeite waard om al die veranderingen onder ogen te krijgen en te gebruiken.
Mijn belangrijkste reden voor aanschaf van bovenstaande programma's: collecties up to date hebben en in enkele seconden de gezochte informatie te kunnen bekijken. Hierdoor al een paar vrienden en kennissen richting Collectorz gestuurd, voor de verzamelaar / liefhebber een absolute must.

I love my movie, book, comic book and game collectorz's apps on my mac, iphone and iPad.

Collectorz seem to offer an exemplary service which many other software houses would do well to imitate.

First of all let me tell you that I am in total awe about the response time for my support request. I really didn´t expect to hear from you so soon (hey it´s Saturday, don´t you have weekends too?). So I´m giving you all my thumbs up (sorry I have only two) for customer care!

BTW, in an age where tech support responses usually take forever and when I've gotten used to "canned" replies that usually don't address the problem I'm having or don't answer the questions I ask (I often wonder if they even read the qestions, since the answers are often so unrelated), I can't tell you how much I appreciate the promptness and the accuracy of he answers I always get from all of you. Where most tech support ranges from mediocre to just plain lousy, yours really stands out for its excellence, as do your products!

Again, your company has one of the best customer service practices I have ever dealt with. Your products are amazing.

I love your software - one of my favorites I'm STILL updating is my Game Collector - because I have so many downloadable engine games that I can't just "search" & add & have to manually input - but I LOVE it, & Book Collector & Movie Collector & Comic Collector @ MP3 Collector & Music Collector & the soon-to-be-tried-but loaded Photo Collector.
I am a bit of a pack-rat with OCD and this software helps me keep everything in order, tells me where it's located, if I have multiple copies (of many things, I do, I'm OCD - but now I know! I can sell the extras!), everything I could hope for!

Also, one more comment - I LOVE the way your software updates automatically! And upgrades my database automatically!

In the past few days you have proven, not for the first time, that you understand what 'support' and 'service' really stand for.

I had some trouble migrating my Music and Movie databases to my brand-new iMac.
Thanks to your excellent and quick support both pieces of software are running smoothly now.

I have been using both software packages for many "Windows-years" and had little or no complaints. Now the new iMac-versions do the same: showing great performance, for a very reasonable 50% discount price!!

Greetings from Oregon far away from the Netherlands. I'm very pleased with CollectorZ products. In past, I had been using OpenOffice to add my vast list of movies. It was a pain in neck for me. In additionally, I had been collecting DVD and VHS covers' images all across the Internet. I tell to myself, there has to be a way to make my own personal collection of those things that I have, but wanted to be displayed in images.

This is where CollectorZ came in. I purchased: Movie Collector Pro, Book Collector Pro, Comics Pro, and Game Collector Pro. I did not purchase Music Pro because I am deaf, LOL. I was going to buy Photo Pro, but will do that later while I'm focusing on indexing up my items. In additionally, I purchased CLZ Barry because I want to have an ability to scan down barcodes quickly.

I have been recommending your website to my friends which they are thinking about coming over to take a look. By the way, I already "LIKE" your website on Facebook.

Love the software!!!!!! It is putting together a nice list for inventory purposes amongst knowing what we have.
The music and movies were easy to use. Been working on the books and it is taking a while... have over 1100+ entered but lots of old ones with no ISBN. Have a ways to go with books, but your program makes it so easy.

I promote so much software it's unreal (lol) but if you collect anything at all, Collectorz.com. I use these guys and swear by their products.

Granted, I live in a one bedroom apartment and can't collect as much as I'd like to (when school is up I plan on moving into a two or three bedroom apartment if and when I get hired as a prof) but what I do have I use Book, Game, and Music Collectorz for. Soon to purchase Movie Collectorz.
