What's new in CLZ Movies Mobile? 2017

Fixed:

• We fixed a crash that could sometimes occur while syncing with CLZ Cloud.

A new v4.8 update for your app is available now, with:

Automatic CLZ Cloud syncing
Add or edit movies and your changes will auto-upload to the CLZ Cloud instantly.
Made changes on the desktop or Connect side? Just start the app and changes will download automatically.

Note: Auto-Syncing is switched OFF by default. Switch it ON in the “Sync with CLZ Cloud” screen.

Don’t have a CLZ Cloud account yet?
If you don’t have a CLZ Cloud account yet, I strongly recommend signup up for one from the app. Using the CLZ Cloud is completely free!

The CLZ Cloud syncing will let you:

1. Sync your data between devices, e.g. between your phone and your tablet. Or from your old phone to your new phone.
2. View your database online using the free CLZ Cloud viewer website.
3. Make an online backup of your data. Better safe than sorry!

In today’s update for the CLZ Movies app, we have made further tweaks to the Add screen, to make it clearer than previous versions:

• Add from CLZ Core:
  • Faster movie title search.
  • Color high-lighting: Movies already ‘on wish list’ now have an orange title, movies already “in collection” show up with a blue title.
  • Slightly smaller font for the movie title, so that longer titles fit better.
  • Search as you type now respects tv-series only/adult filters.

Fixes in this update:

• After changing the sort order the list could sometimes scroll to a random position.
• Small CLZ Cloud sync tweaks.
• After restarting the app an empty details template could sometimes show.
• After restarting the app it would sometimes repeatedly scroll to the last added movie.
• After manually typing a barcode in the add by barcode screen you weren’t able to search another one.

In today’s update for the CLZ Movies app, we have made further tweaks to the Add screen, to make it clearer and (hopefully) more stable than previous versions:

• After each CLZ Cloud sync the “Quick Search” and “Collection Status Filter” was cleared.
• When a custom cover was downloaded via CLZ Cloud syncing, the thumbnail in the list wasn’t immediately updated.
• When a movie was removed, the list would scroll back to the top.
• Various skinning, layout and color fixes.

This update to the CLZ Movies app for Android brings user interface improvements to the Add Movies screen:

• All panels are now resizable (list, details, camera)
• When adding a movie that is already on your wish list, the app now lets you change its’ status to “In Collection”.
• Adding By Barcode:
  • Camera scanner is now integrated in Add screen, not a separate screen
  • Tap the keyboard icon in the camera panel to enter a barcode manually
  • Barcode queue is now remembered between sessions
  • Press and hold to delete a barcode from the queue
• Adding By Title:
  • Expand movie edition list using “V” icons on the right
  • Movie not found? Easy add it manually using the special entry in the results list

New in 4.5.2:

• New Details View templates which are easier on the eye:
  • Clear Light template
  • Clear Dark template

Fixed:

• Covers were not updated in the main list after editing a movie.
• Main Screen: Unknown Formats now have a text label in the cell.
• Login now does a receipt check.
• “Change Template” button moved to right sidebar in the main screen.
• Better thumbnail layout in Landscape Mode.
• After closing the add movies automatically screen, it now selects the latest added movie.
• Improved “tap” area of hamburger menu so you can back out of a folder more easily.

What’s new in CLZ Movies 4.5 for iOS?

• A completely new look, that is cleaner and brighter.
• The choice between two skins/themes: Light & Dark.
• No bottom toolbar means more screen space for your movie collection.
• Big floating blue ‘+’ button on bottom right for adding new movies.
• Access all other features and tools from ‘hamburger’ menu top left.
• Access all view settings from menu on top right.
• Quickly switch between All / In Collection / Wish List at the top.

How to update your CLZ Movies app to version 4.5:

• On your device, open the App Store app.
• On the bottom, switch to the Updates tab.
• Find the CLZ Movies entry and tap “UPDATE” on the right.

What’s new in CLZ Movies 4.3.4 for iOS?

Easily add movies that come up as “Unrecognized Barcode”

• In the Add Movies screen when a barcode is not recognized, a new “Unrecognized Barcode” screen will appear.
• In this screen:
  1. Just find your movie by title (Search-As-You-Type is also active here!)
  2. Select the format (DVD, Blu-Ray, etc..)
  3. Then click Add Movie.
• This will:
  1. Add the movie to YOUR database with full movie details, your barcode and the selected format.
  2. Instantly add the barcode to OUR Core online movie database, connected to the movie you selected. Which means that the next users who searches for the same barcode, will instantly get a result 🙂

How to update your CLZ Games app to version 4.3.3:

• On your device, open the App Store app.
• On the bottom, switch to the Updates tab.
• Find the CLZ Movies entry and tap “UPDATE” on the right.
