Music Database software

I have vinyl, cassettes, and DVD's. This app does very well in organizing these different audio formats witih easily searchable parameters. Over the years, the capability of this software has greatly improved, and expanded it's database sorting ability. Their "Core" database greatly eases the entry of information.

After many years of looking, I finally found a database tool that had all I was looking for and more! I have used Collectorz for more than 15 years. Their support has always been great, too. It’s a fantastic database tool for nerds like me. The app is a great complement so that I can keep track on the go.

Would be lost without it. A safety net to avoid duplication when browsing for LPs. Also useful record of cleaning vinyl. Responsive ‘help’ team too.

After many, many years I bought a turntable and am rebuilding my physical music collection (mostly the recent awesomely good remastered pressings on high quality vinyl). CLZ Music (like their Books app) is a high quality, full-featured app. But the most important thing is that it is actively maintained by a dedicated group of developers who really care about the products. Nothing is more important than frequent releases as a marker of the vitality of an app. Highly recommended. (I am a career software developer, so I can tell!)

Could I say that if rock saved my life, the CLZ Music App saved me from going crazy? I’d definitely say so! Because ever since I discovered it and downloaded it to try it out, I’ve avoided spending reckless amounts on duplicate, triple (and even more, considering the reissues and various re-releases, which are often unnecessary) vinyls and CDs. It’s true, it has a cost, but believe me, it’s more than justified by the constant and continuous improvements being made, making the CLZ Music App an indispensable tool for navigating my personal collection of over 15,000 records, with the ability to add any kind of note related to the album in question—from catalog number to condition, musicians, recording studios, and packaging. In short, it’s the ultimate solution for any enthusiast, whether a collector or not. There are also apps for books and videos. In short, an inexhaustible resource for anyone looking for an app that serves as a convenient reference and aid. Highly recommended for everyone.

I needed to start a proper but straightforward Vinyl LP listing. CLZ is intuitive and logical, pleasant to the eye and it’s simple to learn as you go without any instructions. I like how it saves to cloud and can sync between ipad and iphone in the one app. I am keen to slowly put all my collection on!

After many years of neglect I decided to gather up and catalog my CD and vinyl collection. I thought it would take me a couple of months to do it so I researched it and settled on the CLZ app and I installed and paid the $19.99 yearly subscription. Well, what I thought would take me months actually took a couple of days, for 366 vinyl lps and 275 cds. I am totally satisfied and the app and service have far exceeded my expectations.

So pleased I downloaded the CLZ app as it was just what I needed to catalog my vinyl collection. So easy to use!

In a world of streaming it's very helpful to have a catalogue of both owned music and one's favourite albums.

I have used this app for years. I have over 2000 albums and close to 800 45's. I have them listed in alphabetical order plus location.

I’ve been using the app for a number of years. When I first started using it, I found it met all my needs, and as time goes by and more updates are released, it gets even better. The best thing is that the developers really listen to customers and genuinely respond to suggestions. The platform is stable and secure, and the mobile version has prevented me from doubling up on purchases on many occasions. I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Absolutely worth the annual fee.

I began using the CLZ music catalog App/web years ago to track my Vinyl/CD collection. It would have been amazing to have this app back when I started collecting. (Really amazing since I started my collection in 1968!) Kudos to the Team at CLZ for their always fantastic product!

This is an amazing piece of software. You don’t often find this level of attention to detail in 2026. It is so much more than just a music database for your CDs/ Vinyl. They recently added custom fields which is a game changer to an already fine program.

I searched far and wide to find something that would serve my needs and this is it. I may not have a large collection compared to some but, It was aggravating to try and find what I was looking for before this app. That is NO LONGER the case. Many customizable areas too. Like other CLZ apps, the Music CD / Vinyl app is a great tool for any collector. Lots of fields to short and manage your collection by. My family uses it for vinyl and we can see everyone’s collection in one place. Makes shopping easier and avoids any accidental duplications.

As a collector of hundreds of music recordings in various forms, CLZ helps me quickly identify gaps in my library. As a result, it saves me money from buying duplicates, and also gives me an insight on the collection's overall value. The CLZ Team is doing great work.
