Movie Organizer Software

I’ve been using Collectorz software since 2002, starting with their music collection program, and I’ve stuck with them ever since. The CLZ Movies app continues that same great reliability and organization I’ve come to expect. It’s incredibly easy to catalog my entire movie collection—physical discs and digital titles alike—with fast barcode scanning and automatic details from IMDb. I also use CLZ Music, and both apps sync perfectly through the cloud, so my collections stay up to date across devices. The layout’s clean, customizable, and user-friendly. The subscription isn’t cheap, but for the convenience and quality, it’s absolutely worth it if you’re serious about keeping your collection organized.

I have been a collector of movies going back to Super VHS and Betamax. I migrated through Laser Disks, DVDs, Bluerays, 4K Blue Rays, Streaming Purchases from Apple TV and now the ultimate - Kaleidescape. Keeping all these titles and formats organized was always a challenge and with the hundreds of titles I have in my collection, Excel Spreadsheets no longer cut it. Then after extensive research, I discovered great reviews for CLZ Movies. WOW, I wish I have purchased this App Years Ago! It has literally saved me money. I am a little ashamed to say I have purchased duplicates of movies I already own. I no longer have that problem, I just open my phone or tablet and can immediately see What Films I already own, What Format those films are in and Where I have them stored! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the CLZ Mobile App!!!

Awesome way to keep your movies organized and so easy to use…

As someone who painstakingly created a “database” of my movie collection using a spreadsheet years ago, I can confidently say that this app is a game changer! Gone are the days of endless hours spent organizing, updating, and maintaining my catalog.
Setting up the app took me less than 5 seconds—seriously! The interface is incredibly intuitive, making it accessible for anyone, whether you’re a tech wizard or just someone who loves movies. The only minor hiccup I encountered was when the QR code scanned incorrectly and friends in retail say that happens alot so it is not the app’s fault. However, even when I had to enter information manually, it took less than a minute to get everything sorted.
The user-friendliness of this app is what really shines. It's refreshing to have a tool that makes cataloging my collection so effortless. If you've been doing it the old-fashioned way, trust me, this app will save you a ton of time and frustration. Highly recommend!

It's very easy to use to scan in movies to the database. Once in the database there's plenty of options to organize the movies and TV shows.

CLZ Movies has been perfect for helping my organize my collection. If I’m ever unable to find one of my movies, CLZ Movies keeps a record of the location I last put the movie. CLZ Movies is a must have if you’re trying to organize or keep track of your movie collection!

Love it so much! Love that it connects to IMBD. I also love all the ways you can add a new movie, very nice. Now I can properly organize my movies and still look at them all in one spot!

This app is very EASY to use. It provides a great deal of useful information.
The highlight for my own personal use case, is that I see the contents of my physical media (DVDs, Blu-Rays, 4K UHDs), as well as my Apple TV purchases & Kaleidescape purchases as well. A great App that I highly recommend!

This app is a perfect match, not only do I use this program to keep track of which movies I own but also to organize my collection shelf by the year movies were released just by a simple selection.

Wonderful interface, very intuitive.
Scanning in movies is really easy. Once a movie is scanned in all of the main data fields will be populated for you. You are then able to edit these fields as well as many additional fields.
You can add customized tags to organize your collection.
My favorite feature is the statistics screen. It breaks down your collection in a variety of classifications such as format, genre, release year etc.

I have CLZ Movies, CLZ Books and Movie Collectorz. They are all so easy to use and are perfect for my extensive collections. I tried the other apps out there before and I find these to be the best by far. Way worth the small subscription cost for me to keep everything organized.

I have been a Collectorz user for many years and the CLZ app has come a long way. This was an app that worked along with the Movies Collectorz desktop software in the past. With all the upgrades they done to the app it's so good that now it works independently. Keep all your movies organized, and you have the ability to edit the info within the app. It's so easy to add movies by just scanning the barcode. Definitely a must have if you're a serious movie collector.

I have been an on again, off again user of this product. Previously, I had owned the stand alone version of this software for my Mac. CLZ discontinued support for that software and moved everything to a cloud based software. I quit using it and relied on other products to organize my movie collection. However, none of them had the functionality that I required. So I decided to give CLZ another chance.
I am very impressed with the elegance of this user friendly program. Being able to add movies with the phone app and make changes through the app or online with my laptop has been a game changer. Not only that, but the owner/developer is conscientious and quick to respond to issues.

I love this app. My wife is a dvd nut, and has quite a collection. I have been trying to organize and list what we have. So as we acquire more, we avoid duplication, while also having a method to remember what movies we are hunting still.
Hand writing, typing out titles wasn't going to be efficient. I looked at many apps but they didn't meet the need and it's tedious to type in each name, much less any details whatsoever, ratings or shorting.
I found CLZ and thought I'd give it a test. Scanning barcodes? Are you serious? It was so fun, and fast. Plus each scanned DVD includes all the details and links. We can sort by multiple criteria and with it being cloud connected, my wife could also us it on her phone.
We literally scanned and organized 600 titles. Now when we are hunting, one quick scan and we can see if it's a movie we already have, or one we need. I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with CLZ. It does everything we could want.

This is great if you collect movies and want a way to organize and see what you want to watch in a moment.

Still learning features and limitations but pleased I can access my library across devices (tablets, phones, PC's, laptops). I have 950 movies that were originally organized in excel. Took a few weeks to get them in this app using the auto fill. I don't plan on going anywhere but service does allow for a clean, comprehensive export of data if company were to shut it's doors which makes trying this product risk free.

Really hand app, I love the ability to add movies via bar code and being able to sync my library on multiple devices. I have a HTPC and this software been great on keeping my collection organised. The subscription service makes all this affordable.

this app is excellent for cataloging and organizing my movies and well worth the upgrade to use all the major features. Movies in the mail and it helps me remember what I've actually bought before! As a side note, Alwin from customer service helped me with an issue I had recently on the app and did so in a very timely fashion and got it up and running again for me.

I've used this cataloging program since it was only computer download. Now it's a cloud system with a very simple app design which allows me to continue to keep my movies catalogued which helps me stay organized now that i own movies on Vudu, DVD, Amazon, etc. I can use this to see all of my movies at once, in one place.

There is no better feeling than knowing that your movies are all organized and at your fingertips.
