Blu-ray Database Software

I have been a movie buff well before videotapes, DVD, Blu-rays and now streaming. When CLZ movies was first released, I jumped on it since the only database I used to keep track of my collection was FileMaker Pro. But now their Connect web-based software along with a iPad, iPhone and Android apps that sync effortlessly and their own CLZ scanner app, I can easily scan barcodes from my phone.
The details of each movie is amazing and you can add your own details as well. CLZ always updates all their apps to improve them and also add features. It is worth the monthly/yearly price. They also have specials on pricing so you can buy subscriptions for years to come.
All-in-all, you can’t go wrong with this invaluable database for your movies, and TV series.

I really like this app I have thousands of Blu-ray’s and this is the best app to keep track of my collection. It also helps me from buying the same Blu-ray twice. It’s worth it.

There are dozens of movie collector apps but none come close to CLZ’s movie database. It is consistently updating to make it easier for collectors to keep track of your movies. My collection is huge so this app, which I’ve been using since it was its original release, has everything you need to catalogue your movies.
With streaming becoming more popular, I still purchase Blu-ray/DVD’s because the shows may not be available for streaming once they run their course through streaming services. CLZ’s core database is loaded with so much information that you’ll never have to look up who was in that movie or who produced or directed it.
This is the only database you need. I would also recommend their comic and book databases. Your movies seamlessly sync to iPads, smartphones, and your Mac or PC. If you have a large collection, as I do, you can’t go wrong with CLZ apps.

So far the App is fantastic , I've built up a large physical media collection over the year and I needed a method of cataloguing them - I'm a member of several dvd / blu ray groups of FB - someone on the group recommended CLZ movies to me , I got the app last night and was immediately amazed by the ease of use.

Great for tracking my DVD Blu-ray steel book 4k collection!

The scan barode bit gave me some trouble but otherwise it does exactly as I need it to. Gives me a potable catalog I can reference when I'm out bluray hunting and I come across something I wasn't sure if I had already. When you get to more than 3000 in your library one can become occasionally forgetful.

The main reason for me emailing you is to give you some feedback about one of your team. I bought the Mac version of your Movie Collectorz software in the early 2000’s for my mid-2011 iMac. I have now repatriated the 450 DVDs I left in Sweden when I moved to the US and wanted to start adding to my collection with all of the US purchases I’ve made (on DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital) since then.
I wrote to your support team and since then have been helped by Sytske. My commendation is for the efficiency and friendliness in which Sytske has helped me to get my collection into your online product, despite the fact that the servers for my iMac version were undoubtedly switched off a long time ago. I know (as a technical support specialist) that there is undoubtedly a tool to help with the import of my old collection, but it’s the interaction I’ve had with Sytske that I’m praising here.
I can only assume that the rest of your support team are as friendly and efficient at their jobs and it’s to your credit your support operation leaves this kind of impression on me as (almost) a new customer.
Please, continue what you’re doing, and I can tell you that I will continue subscribing! I have a movie habit that I need you to support. Again, please pass on my thanks to Sytske, and again, thank you for enabling the organization of my guilty pleasure!!

I needed a system of cataloging my Blu Ray and 4K UHD movies and CLZ was the app for me. So easy to use and navigate, I scanned my 500+ titles in no time. Would recommend to anyone!

I can't live without this. I have so many TV shows and Movies it's hard to keep track of them all. All I do is purchase a new DVD or blu ray and scan the barcode and it's added to my collection. It has saved me from buying something I already had. On the flip side, several times I thought I had season 5 but I didn't. Then I can just scroll my collection on my phone. They are great with updates or adding titles that are not already there.

Managed to catalog all my movies, over 1000 including DVD, Blu-ray , 3D , UHD and my Laserdiscs! Very easy to use finds 95% of the stuff from the barcode. What would have taken days/weeks took only couple days.
Support is great had old database which team converted and also very quick answering Q&A.
Will be keeping my subscription!

I just started getting back into collecting physical media and was looking for an app to help and found this one. Works great, love that you can just scan the barcode and all the metadata auto populates. Saves a ton of time of typing/writing a list to keep track of my movies. I also like that it differentiates between the types of media: DVD, Blu-Ray, 4K; big help it knowing what needs upgrading.

CLZ movies has been a great app to track, grow and enjoy my extensive (almost 3k) movie collection of DVD, blu ray, and now 4k movies.
This is my 3rd different app, and the only one I use now.
It has extensive features, with rich detail ,and great graphics. It truly enhances my crazy collection - hobby. I use it often when shopping for additions to my collection (great wishlist) , don’t duplicate purchases; or deciding what to watch, all entries link to IMDB for trailers and reviews.
The developers are very responsive, and promptly respond to queries…. Which is great in this day and age!

Good App for keeping track of all the DVD's and Blu-rays. Especially 8f you have a large collection. Also good if you like your stuff organized.

Excellent, very intuitive app, like all of CLZ's amazing apps! I would have bought doubles of so many movies without this app. Saving the money to even ONE purchase of a blu ray or 4k I already have is worth the very reasonable price of the app.
While the CLZ comic book app may be their CITIZEN KANE, this one is a very close MAGNIFICENT AMBERSONS!

I've been using various Collectorz products for more than 18 years. First the Desktop software, then the web version and now the android app. I have more than 8,000 movies and television shows on DVD and Blu-ray. The apps and software have MORE than paid for themselves at this point by allowing me to check my collection on the go so I don't unwittingly buy duplicates. The sync from app to cloud and vice versa is so much quicker than it used to be. TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!

Tired of physically searching through my blu-ray and DVD collection for a movie to watch, I thought it was time to properly catalog them all. I had sort of done an excel spreadsheet, but that gave limited information (unless I spent hours - more like weeks inputting info). So I searched the App Store and came across CLZ.
Well what a find! It is perfect and very easy to use. Having a mixture of 400+ blu-ray/DVD’s in my collection, all I had to do was scan the covers barcode using the phone’s camera and the app automatically adds and catalogs the movie along with a stack of information (sourced from IMDb). I would say 99% of the time all info is correct, but if something is slightly wrong it is very easy to edit either immediately or afterwards.
After adding your movies, you can then search using various filters etc. I like searching for a particular favourite actor then have the app give me a selection of movies to choose from.
I had a few small questions at the start, but Alwin was great and responded very quickly. Highly recommend this app!

There is a room in my house filled with: DVDs and Blu-rays. When I go into the room that has them displayed all along the shelves, by osmosis, I’m absorbing all of these movies. It’s tangible. It’s right there. I don’t know how many times I’ve just stared at them all.
To organize my DVDs and Blu-rays, I use an app called CLZ Movies so I can see [the titles in] my library wherever I am. If it made my collection, I consider the movie a masterpiece. I often review movies to friends by saying, “I liked it, but it didn’t make the shelf.”

With well over 1,000 DVD and Blu-Ray movies in my collection I was often purchasing the same movie twice! This app puts every title at my fingertips and solved the problem. Better yet, just by scanning a bar code you get a huge amount of information about the film, including access to the original movie trailer. Makes it much easier to decide what you want to watch. The app is a snap to use but if you need support they reply quickly with the answer you need. Once you get this app you will wonder how you ever lived without it!

A great app that that lets me catalogue my BluRay collection and want-list (preventing me from re-buying films I already own).

Been on this app for a year or so, love the ease of getting information on my dvd, bluray, vhs Collection. I have over 5000 movies tv shows etc. Great value too less than £2 a month.

With over 1000 movies and TV shows in my collection it's a great way to catalog them. The app has everything I need and it's so easy to add a DVD or Blu-ray with correct info too. I'm happy I get to finally catalog my ever expanding collection

Adding films with the barcode scanner using IMDB info is great. And I like how you can organise based on blu-ray, or 4K etc. You can even set custom tabs (like favourites), that you can choose if they automatically apply to your next film. There are tons of options for listing things, like films with a certain actor!

I have a big collection of blu rays and 4k discs and find this app both helpful and easy to use. For the tiny fee I would recommend it to anyone in the same situation.

Just wanted to thank you guys for adding this maintenance option. It is a godsend for me as a user of your desktop version. I have over 4500 records of movies & TV shows that I am constantly having to rearrange or reassign fields as I add or modify where my hard disks as well as electronic media are stored and what versions of the media I own (DVD, Blu, UHD, iTunes, Ripped copies, etc).
I also keep up with where the media is stored either in carousels or boxes and for electronic copies I need to know which hard disk it is stored or which NAS it is stored on. And, I also keep up with whether ripped copies are designed to be played on an iPad (standard resolution) or through my theater projector (high resolution).
I just did a mass copy that finished in 5 seconds that would have taken me weeks to manually copy from one field to another, speaking nothing of data entry keying errors along the way.
