Would be lost without it. A safety net to avoid duplication when browsing for LPs. Also useful record of cleaning vinyl. Responsive ‘help’ team too.

After many, many years I bought a turntable and am rebuilding my physical music collection (mostly the recent awesomely good remastered pressings on high quality vinyl). CLZ Music (like their Books app) is a high quality, full-featured app. But the most important thing is that it is actively maintained by a dedicated group of developers who really care about the products. Nothing is more important than frequent releases as a marker of the vitality of an app. Highly recommended. (I am a career software developer, so I can tell!)

Could I say that if rock saved my life, the CLZ Music App saved me from going crazy? I’d definitely say so! Because ever since I discovered it and downloaded it to try it out, I’ve avoided spending reckless amounts on duplicate, triple (and even more, considering the reissues and various re-releases, which are often unnecessary) vinyls and CDs. It’s true, it has a cost, but believe me, it’s more than justified by the constant and continuous improvements being made, making the CLZ Music App an indispensable tool for navigating my personal collection of over 15,000 records, with the ability to add any kind of note related to the album in question—from catalog number to condition, musicians, recording studios, and packaging. In short, it’s the ultimate solution for any enthusiast, whether a collector or not. There are also apps for books and videos. In short, an inexhaustible resource for anyone looking for an app that serves as a convenient reference and aid. Highly recommended for everyone.

I needed to start a proper but straightforward Vinyl LP listing. CLZ is intuitive and logical, pleasant to the eye and it’s simple to learn as you go without any instructions. I like how it saves to cloud and can sync between ipad and iphone in the one app. I am keen to slowly put all my collection on!

Great tool for not buying dups in the great hunt for classic vinyl or cassette tapes. Been using this software for several years, just a great product.

So pleased I downloaded the CLZ app as it was just what I needed to catalog my vinyl collection. So easy to use!

After many years of neglect I decided to gather up and catalog my CD and vinyl collection. I thought it would take me a couple of months to do it so I researched it and settled on the CLZ app and I installed and paid the $19.99 yearly subscription. Well, what I thought would take me months actually took a couple of days, for 366 vinyl lps and 275 cds. I am totally satisfied and the app and service have far exceeded my expectations.

The app makes "vinyl nights" great. I pass my phone to my guests & let them choose the next record to spin. A LOT easier than going through the bins of albums I have :)

I began using the CLZ music catalog App/web years ago to track my Vinyl/CD collection. It would have been amazing to have this app back when I started collecting. (Really amazing since I started my collection in 1968!) Kudos to the Team at CLZ for their always fantastic product!

This is an amazing piece of software. You don’t often find this level of attention to detail in 2026. It is so much more than just a music database for your CDs/ Vinyl. They recently added custom fields which is a game changer to an already fine program.

Like other CLZ apps, the Music CD / Vinyl app is a great tool for any collector. Lots of fields to short and manage your collection by. My family uses it for vinyl and we can see everyone’s collection in one place. Makes shopping easier and avoids any accidental duplications.

I use this app strictly for my personal vinyl inventory. I don't use it for valuations. It's so easy to use, has great custimation options and the dev team is always trying to improve and expand capabilities. I've been a user for four years, and I've tried other apps. I think I'll stay here.

I hesitated for a long time before trying this, or any app, to log all of my music, as I have close to 6,000 CDs and around 1,000 vinyl albums, mostly classical, jazz and “world”music.
And it’s classical music that produces a particular issue, which is how do you want to file/look up a CD with multiple artists, playing multiple composers? The CLZ app makes this all entirely possible by the use of tags and editable look up labels for artist, composer, label, amd many many more.
So I can now look up Jean Efflam Bavouzet and Manchester Camerata playing Mozart’s Piano Concertos at Stoller Hall, on the Chandos label, which is a recommended recording by Gramophone Magazine in any way I choose, and know it’s filed under Mozart Piano Concertos.
I invested a while uploading all of my collection, but it has now come to bear fruit in searching and cross referencing.
I’m also happy with the cloud back ups, which for me real confidence. They are also very very responsive to questions and feedback, and development ideas.
I was initially hesitant, but it’s truly exceeded all of my expectations.

I’ve owned clz app in its evolution from music collector to clz for many many years and I’ve found nothing better. It is well laid out, easy to add or edit and continues to evolve. I normally never buy an app that is subscription based but the mobile version of clz is acceptably priced so have been happy to continue with my subscription. For context, I own about 800 vinyl and a 1000 cds and occasionally I’ll add to this. I like the recently added connect to eBay which gives me an idea of vinyl value.

Your database can be slplit into various collections so that you can store vinyl, cds etc in their own collection. Entries are added either manually, from the CLZ core or by scanning in the product bar code. The app is multi platform so if you have the web/PC/android versions they are always in synch

Delivers exactly what it says. Great for managing music collections (cds, vinyls). It has what’s needed without hassle. Stable, intuitive, easy to use.

I have collected vinyl for more than 55 years and built my own database to record and search my collection but everytime technology overtook my efforts until i found CLZ a few years ago. It does everythingi had ever dreamt of. Smoothly, efficiently and with gorgeous presentation and simple use.
I can not recommend this product highly enough. CLZ care and understand what collectors want!

Using the apps for a long time it answers perfectly my needs in term of listing, classifying and categorising my vinyls and CD (about one thousand).

I’ve been using CLZ Music for several years now. It’s perfect at helping me keep on top of my ever increasing vinyl collection. Regular updates and improvements by Alvin and the team mean it just gets better and better. An essential tool which I use daily.
On the occasions when I’ve had to contact support for help they’ve always responded very quickly and sorted out my issues. Brilliant support and a brilliant app which I’d be lost without.

If you have a lot of lps or cds and want to have an organized and excellent way of knowing what you have, it is a great way to scroll through your collection to see what's there. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars.
Best $20 annual fee I've spent in a long time.

Just started using the app and will continue to do so to inventory just my LPs. I have a lot of obscure blues and all were in the database except a few. You do need to add the exact artist name and LP title to find it. Sometimes when using the barcode the CD version will come up. Sometimes you have to try slight variations in the name of the artist and/or title to find what you are looking for.
