CD Collection Software

I began using the CLZ music catalog App/web years ago to track my Vinyl/CD collection. It would have been amazing to have this app back when I started collecting. (Really amazing since I started my collection in 1968!) Kudos to the Team at CLZ for their always fantastic product!

Excellent app. Very full featured and is allowing me to quickly catalog a vinyl and CD collection using bar code scanning and will save me money by eliminating a potential duplicate vinyl purchase, as I continue to grow that collection, over CDs.

An excellent app for keeping track of my CD collection. Loads of information, easy-to-use and solid performance. I've never had any problems with the app ss well.

I've been using this to keep tabs on my ever expanding CD collection for more than 6 years. My collection has topped 2500 and CLZ keeps up with it.

The CLZ database software is absolutely brilliant, thank you very much indeed.
I have been using it since version 9 but decided to re-catalogue my whole CD collection into the current version rather than import it, as I wanted the time to review (and remember) what I have (many of my CDs go back to the 1980's as you will see!)
During the entry of some of my more obscure titles I used Discogs to get the actual artwork of my actual CD when CLZ did not return an image. I just love the versatile way CLZ works in this regard.
I am constantly singing the praises of CLZ to my friends.

I have a huge CD collection, in the 1,000's. Finally a way to catalog and locate them! For such a small fee, such a big help! Seems to work nearly perfect. Everything I had hoped for. Have options to catalog LP and cassette too along with CD's. Very flexible. Finally I can search for an artist fast and easy!

A great way to manage my Vinyl and CD collection.

Have been using CLZ Music for a couple of years now, and recently added Connect. It has been very helpful in organizing my Vinyl and CD collection, and I really appreciate the flexibility to add my own notes and categorization, as well as it's flexible search capabilities. It is invaluable when digging at stores or vinyl fairs to ensure I don't buy duplicates. When I have had to contact support, they always responded very quickly and answered any questions.

The CLZ mobile app is amazing. The bar code scanning is brilliant. So simple, I wish I had discovered it years ago. The interface is so user-friendly that I instantly was able to get started. I couldn't be happier. I have already scanned about one quarter of my nearly 1,000 CD collection in a ridiculously short period of time. The dreaded task of cataloguing my collection instead became fun.
If that wasn’t enough, the customer service was beyond impressive. The support team actually reached out to me for feedback on my free trial and then responded near immediately when I had an additional question. It made me feel like I was their only customer.
Highly recommended. A bargain at the app price for all the features and customer service.

I used this app on my iPad solely to inventory my husband’s CD collection. I used bar code scanning and was thoroughly impressed with the scan component and the completeness of the music database. I highly recommend this app.

Thought you might like to know although I will use the Database for my CD collection which compared to some people is modest, the main use after I change some field names is as a home inventory as I have tried different home inventory software in the past and always found them dated and lacking the power I need, but not only does your software outperforms other databases, it's also good value as well.

Many years ago I got fed up with looking for a particular track I had on a compilation album and set about looking for a database for cataloguing my cd collection and found CLZ Music Collector and have never looked back.
I can now go out and buy cd's knowing I can check if I have it via the CLZ Music Collector app on my phone, which is syncd with the laptop.

Excellent for cataloguing my record and cd collection.

Allows me to keep track of my CD collection while out and about, making sure I don't buy duplicates !! Owned the App for many years now and really impressed by the company. Always releasing updates, and swift to respond to queries or issues.

I rarely write reviews, but this one deserves an exception. This app is excellent. Easy to use, either scanning the barcode or inputting manually. My heart usually sinks when I have to find albums as much of my music collection is pretty esoteric, but in this case the database is remarkable and easy to navigate with keywords. I would recommend this app to anyone who has a large CD collection but isn’t planning to rip it all onto their computer. Bravo! 5*

Having rescued my CD collection from the depths of our garage I was looking for away to index the collection of nearly 400 albums. I came across CLZ Music whilst browsing the App Store. What a fantastic App it turned out to be. I am well on the way to completing the exercise of indexing all of them in time for the arrival of my new CD player.
Having disposed of my last CDC player thinking that streaming was the future I am returning to collecting the real thing.
Highly recommend this App and a nice touch from the developer who asked how I was finding it then helped me solve a small issue of adding location data when bulk bar code scanning.

Really great app for a music fanatic and CD collector like me! It lets me track which CDs I own so I don't accidently purchase the same one and let's me organize my CD collection (e.g. by year, alphabetically,..). You just scan your CD and it'll appear in your virtual collection! Customer support is very kind and speedy too.

The CLZ Music app is an extremely useful tool. I use it to catalogue my music collection. CLZ enables me to very effectively search for a particular artist, composer etc, and to keep tabs on my extensive CD collection. A minor problem that I had understanding how a particular application worked was very swiftly resolved. I highly recommend this App to anyone seeking to accurately catalogue their collection.

I have a very large CD collection and over the years I have bought double titles. I needed to inventory all of them so not to rebuying the same.CLZ Music fits all my needs. Initially I was having a little trouble getting it going but the customer support has been excellent. Every email question that I sent support I got a quick response. I have been using the app just for a short time and I have noticed how robust it is with all the information that the app gets for you. This app is a must have.

I love your software and have used it to tame my 1700 (and growing) CD collection.

I got this to Catalogue my large CD Collection as I was buying duplicates and it's just as good as their movie database app. I do recommend them.

Convenient way to access entire CD collection.

YEARS ago I was looking for a program to keep track of my growing CD collection. I'd found a few, but none of them did as much as I wanted out of the program. In fact, if there were two or three features I wanted I felt pretty lucky.
I found one program I liked more than the others, but it was bought by some other company and dropped out of sight. Now I had a choice of using a years-old program with no updates and no support or finding a new program.

I don't remember how I happened across Collectorz, but the first time I used it I thought "MAN! Where has this been all the time I've been searching?" Then there was an update.
FANTASTIC! Here's where it all goes south.

WRONG! The update actually not only made what already existed better, but it added MORE things! More HELPFUL things! I figured the company would eventually sell out to the highest bidder (that's just how my luck runs sometimes) and I'd be looking for a replacement again.

NOT SO! Not only is it still around, it's better, easier to use, and more capable than it was when I first fell in love with it around 10 years ago.

Another shocker.

Contact them for technical support. Not only do you always get and answer, but (and this is maybe even more hard to believe) THEY'RE ALWAYS RIGHT!

If you get this program to catalog your CDs (or movies, comics, games, etc.) and you DON'T appreciate the obvious thought and planning that goes into providing a world-class program you really must not need an 'inventory' program as badly as you thought!

In short, I've bought a whole lot of software in the 30+ years I've been dealing with computers, but I don't believe there's been one I like as much or would miss more than Collectorz!

Great app for keeping your CD collection on file. I can see this being great for insurance claims and knowing what album you have. Over 400 albums logged and no problems with it not knowing any of the albums. I also use the other app that keeps track of my movie collection. Well done.

Absolutely love this app, can't find anything bad to say about it. If you have a CD collection and want to catalog it this is the only way to go.

Use for cataloguing a very large CD collection, finds pretty much everything, synch between cloud, iPad and android phone is brilliant!
