Very nice app to catalog your CD's and Vinil's. Easy to use and register your discs. Useful views to browse or search your collection. Always improving functionaries and adding new features. Recommend to all CD and Vinil collectors or lovers.

Got the trial app and just love it! I catalogued 75 CDs in about 20 minutes. I would also recommend getting the Music Connect web based program as you can edit your information easier in bulk. Also, I was impressed with their customer service as I had a question and they replied via email with the exact answer to my question.

I’ve been using this to catalogue cd’s for some time and can honestly say that there is nothing better out there. So simple to use, especially with the barcode scanner, and full of detailed information about each item I enter. I have been so happy with this that I have now also subscribed to the Movie version to catalogue my blu ray collection.
Absolutely recommend CLZ apps to anyone who wishes to catalogue a collection!!!!

This is everything I was looking for to catalogue all my cds. Easy to navigate and understand, the scanning option makes it quick and easy. Keep up the great work.

I’ve been using CLZ Music collector for 5+ years and it’s been a great way to catalog my CDs and LPs. I use it to keep all media organized by genre and alpha in CD rack and LP cabinet (1000 CDs +100 newly added LPs.) when I scan a new CD - I instantly know which CDs it goes between! CLZ is always improving the app. like recently adding statistics in real. 5.2. The best part for me is being able to scan barcodes or enter catalog #s - I can’t imagine doing it manually anymore. And now scanning is in the app - no more need for the separate Barry app. Syncing to the cloud is a nice assurance too.
One of the best working apps I’ve found for running on my PC, MAC, iPhone and iPad !

CLZ has been the perfect solution to cataloguing all my CDs. Now I have started on all my old vinyl, it will be the first time in over 40 years of collecting that I'll know at a glance what I have and where to find it!

Best app for cataloging CDs that I have found. Tried several others but none can touch this. Entry is so easy by just scanning the CD bar code. If it’s not in the data base then you do have to do some manual data entry. To date I have added 793 CDs to this data base and I have many more to go, but it’s way better than manually inputting the dates or even ripping the CD to get the data.
Would like to add all my downloaded tracks to the data base, but not sure I can do that yet. If you can’t remember what music you have and want to avoid duplication, this is the app for you

Fantastic, been struggling to catalogue 2000+ cds on orange cd suite, this is much quicker.

For anyone wanting to access their CD, Vinyl or even digital file collection quickly, rather than try and remember what they have or where it is, this is a great App. In a few short sessions I catalogued over 500 CDs that were scattered about in various cabinets, racks, bookcases etc... Typically, each just needed a rapid barcode scan, with just a few percent needing a manual edit. Such edits were needed as the barcode related to the wrong CD, mostly just the wrong version and a very few the wrong CD totally, or there was no CD found. In these cases the catalogue number worked for me except for three very obscure CDs that I needed to fully manually add including a cover picture.

I also catalogue SACDs and the, so far, few high resolution digital files I’ve also started to buy. Using the ‘location’ field I don’t need to care much about which cabinet, rack, bookcase etc a specific CD is or which music is on digital files. I just browse as the mood takes me, looking at the art work and track listings using iPad or iPhone and once selected the location tells me how to quickly find it.

CLZ is by far the best of several ‘library’ Apps I’ve paid for over many years. Although some have suggested it’s rather expensive, looking at who’s behind it (collectorz.com) and my experience, the first time the whole process was easy and quick enough to catalogue my whole collections without giving up on the App, I feel it’s well worth it. These folk have been around for a very long time with desktop library applications and, hopefully, will be around a very long time to come and continue to provide great support too.

We are a small radio station using Music Collector to catalog our CDs. It is perfect for our needs and easy to use. Barcode automatic entry provides quick entry of CDs.
Our broadcasters can view the collection from their home computers. Incredible support, almost immediate responses from Alwin.

Just catalogued all my CD's using the bar code scanner, very easy and quick.

YEARS ago I was looking for a program to keep track of my growing CD collection. I'd found a few, but none of them did as much as I wanted out of the program. In fact, if there were two or three features I wanted I felt pretty lucky.
I found one program I liked more than the others, but it was bought by some other company and dropped out of sight. Now I had a choice of using a years-old program with no updates and no support or finding a new program.

I don't remember how I happened across Collectorz, but the first time I used it I thought "MAN! Where has this been all the time I've been searching?" Then there was an update.
FANTASTIC! Here's where it all goes south.

WRONG! The update actually not only made what already existed better, but it added MORE things! More HELPFUL things! I figured the company would eventually sell out to the highest bidder (that's just how my luck runs sometimes) and I'd be looking for a replacement again.

NOT SO! Not only is it still around, it's better, easier to use, and more capable than it was when I first fell in love with it around 10 years ago.

Another shocker.

Contact them for technical support. Not only do you always get and answer, but (and this is maybe even more hard to believe) THEY'RE ALWAYS RIGHT!

If you get this program to catalog your CDs (or movies, comics, games, etc.) and you DON'T appreciate the obvious thought and planning that goes into providing a world-class program you really must not need an 'inventory' program as badly as you thought!

In short, I've bought a whole lot of software in the 30+ years I've been dealing with computers, but I don't believe there's been one I like as much or would miss more than Collectorz!

I have the Music Collector package and use it to catalogue my CDs, music DVDs and vinyl collection. It is a versatile package, the Collectorz team are very proactive in constantly improving the package and - all in all - it represents excellent value for money.

I got this to catalogue all my CDs after getting the same CD more than once. Thought it was a little costly, but now I'm using it, it was money well spent.

I love what you did with Collectorz - it is an essential tool for me right now. I was an early adopter (we even had some discussions back then [late 90s?] - I think I suggested then exporting to HTML :-) - but what you have right now is light years away - beautiful!!!), right at the beginning of your work and I used it on and off, until a few months ago when I discovered Music Connect.
I had a ton of uncatalogued music, I was way behind - but in the last couple of months since I started to use Music Connect I managed to catalog about 3500 CDs. Excellent job. Beautifully streamlined.

I am cataloguing my CDs and this is absolutely Amazing for doing that. It is so so easy to use.

I have had this app for several years, cataloging over 700 CD’s, 800 LP’s and and more than 900 digital albums. It is very stable and just works, allowing me to check what I have when out looking for new music. I have had the odd hiccup and whenever I have contacted the support team it’s been sorted within 24 hours. A great app, whether I on mobile device or computer.

I own Music Collector and it is an amazing piece of software. I already cataloged my entire cd and vinyl collection.
I used to be a programmer in the early days ( I'm 52 now and a computer technician) .Mostly Clipper Summer 87 and afterwards Microsoft Foxpro 2.6 (I still own the 3.5 disks) .
I have great respect for those who spend their lives creating amazing software! Your company deserves all the honours and respect for your hard work.

Just finished cataloguing my CDs, now on to Vinyl - and I love that even some of my oldest 70's stuff is found by catalog number.

Love the bar code scanner makes cataloguing cd's very quick!

Use for cataloguing a very large CD collection, finds pretty much everything, synch between cloud, iPad and android phone is brilliant!

Great work by the development team. Smooth software. Are there some improvements that could be done? I'm sure we can all make a suggestion or two. In the meantime, using this great app. Did I say great app? Can't sit here banging on all day. Too many CDs to catalogue.

Just getting started cataloging music CDs. Great so far.

Many years ago I get fed up with looking for a particular track I had on a compilation album and set about looking for a database for cataloguing my cd collection and found CLZ Music Collector and have never looked back. I can now go out and buy cd's knowing I can check if I have it via the CLZ Music Collector app on my phone, which is sync with the laptop. Keep up the good work.
