CLZ Books is an app I have used for several years to keep track of my library. It keeps track of and will search all of the relevant data. I find it easy to enter data into, even data about books that are unusual, such as facsimiles of ancient manuscripts. My only complaint is that it cannot read my mind and warn me that I am thinking about a book already in my library. It is my failure to check this app that has had me purchasing duplicate copies that I already own. So I recommend it - and I recommend checking it before you purchase a book.

I’ve used CLZ Books (and Music) for years. It’s the simplest way I’ve found to keep track of my collections. The camera driven ISBN scanner is brilliant. And in the rare case it doesn’t find the book I’m adding, the manual entry method is easy to use as well.
Don’t let ‘simple’ put you off though. The app allows you to filter as many ways as you can imagine. Its ability to track books series is excellent and extremely useful for me.

Just moved about 4000 entries from the now discontinued “Readerware” and the move could not have been easier using the CLZ tool. Effective concept of Core Collection is well considered. More to come as I explore.

I’ve been using CLZ Books for twenty years, starting back when it was a Windows app and eventually moving to their cloud platform and mobile apps. With more than 2,000 books in my collection, their apps make it easy to keep everything organized across all my devices. I use CLZ to track books I want to buy and read in the future, but also to rediscover books already in my collection that I want to read again. I also share my cloud link with friends so they can browse my collection and find ideas for books they might want to read.

The best book cataloging app I’ve tried so far. This app is extremely customizable to your needs.
My favorite feature is the shake to pick a random book. My son loves it and I love not having to read the same book night after night after night.

I own both books and movies. This app is very smart in finding the ISBN on a page full of text. For books without an ISBN, there is an add book by title or author. Also has an add manually for those books it can’t find in its catalog although this has only happen twice in the ~500 books I’ve entered. I used the tag option to categorize my books with my own personally created categories and this has worked well so far. It also gives the number of books in each tag. Only took a few hours to enter the number of books I have in so far and I’m not quite done yet. I also like that it gives list price and current value of the book. There is also a link if you want to see if the book is on eBay.
I pretty sure as time goes on I’ll enjoy this as much as the movie app in I have entered my ~2700 DVDs. I would recommend this to anybody with a lot of books who wants to organize their collection. One final note is they have a free backup to the cloud. Enjoy!

I have had this app for years now. I like being able to catalogue my books to see what I have. And with over 600 books in my library, it comes in handy!

I’ve tried several book cataloguing apps and CLZ Books is easily the best. Great value, handles large collections smoothly, and is highly customisable with excellent sorting, filtering and bulk editing.
I especially like being able to separate family members’ collections. ISBN lookup works with typed numbers for older books. Clean, intuitive UI and helpful support.

I've been a private music teacher for the past 40+ years and over the time accumulated well over a thousand scores and books on voice science, pedagogy, acoustics, physiology, learning, neurology, business etc. Now that I'm retired, that library is being given to other teachers and advanced students or donated to music schools.
I have recommended you and your products to many folks as they have helped me keep track of materials I've loaned out, prevented me from buying duplicates that I don't need and allowed me to keep track of where things were - at the studio, in a filing cabinet or on a bookshelf!

Ich habe die CLZ-Datenbank vor vielen Jahren von meinem Mann geschenkt bekommen, nachdem ich mir ein Buch doppelt gekauft hatte – und war von Anfang an begeistert.
Seitdem organisiere ich wirklich alles darin: Reiseführer, Kochbücher, Hörbücher und sogar Straßenkarten. Besonders toll finde ich die vielen Felder, die sich ganz flexibel an die eigenen Bedürfnisse anpassen lassen.
Auch die Newsletter sind sehr verständlich geschrieben, Neuerungen werden klar erklärt. Man merkt einfach, dass hier viel Herzblut drinsteckt. Und falls doch einmal eine Frage offen bleibt, ist der Support unschlagbar gut.
Ich wüsste ehrlich gesagt nicht mehr, was ich ohne CLZ machen sollte – von mir gäbe es am liebsten 10 Sterne!

So far it has extremely easy to use, despite the majority of my collection needing to be added manually.

It's been perfect for managing my books, the only problem I have is finding the time to scan all of them. I had a weird issue with data being cached, but support were excellent and it's all sorted within about 3 hours.

Everything is going great. The ease of use is astonishing! All of my books, so far, have scanned in with no problem. It is truly a life saver for anyone wanting to catalog their book collection.
