I have my 1200 treasured books. I love the values given!

So far so good! I've logged about 1/2 of my books, and I love it! Seeing what I have in one place is great. The app works well, and it is very easy. I have no complaints.

I have zero complaints with it so far. The cloud backup feature is nice, and I also appreciate the ability to export the full library if I need to.
Edit: one other thing to note: I actually appreciate that this app is supported by a very reasonable subscription fee. The last thing I want is an app that is free and never updated and eventually dies, or a bunch of ads. If you do eventually tire of paying a small fee, you can easily export your library.

Books are added to the database by scanning the ISBN barcode. I find the location field particularly useful as I have books in various rooms. This is manually updated. The app is cross platform, Web. Windows and android so that your collection is always in synch across platforms

I have had this app for years and I have found it to be very user friendly and efficient. Additionally, it is constantly being updated and changed for the better.

This is my favorite app. It keeps all the information about my library at my finger tips. This app is easy to use, provides tons of information about my books and is fun to use. It gives me total access to my information about my books and prevents purchasing duplicate books since the information is always at my finger tips. Need help or have a question, they are always available.

I use this app for my genealogy books. It works great and I always have on-hand what I have purchase. It's hard with genealogy books since lots of outdated books are reprinted with different covers and I have been known, before the app, to purchase another copy of something I already had. And, it's even better with the values attached. I have a book that is worth way more than I paid for it a few years back!!

I love the app because you can have multiple collections and it is so easy to add books by scanning them in.

I started collecting SF and Fantasy books 65 years ago. About 30 years ago, I passed 4000 books and keeping them organized became a chore. I wrote database programs in Apple Basic, then moved to Foxbase for my needs. I bought some early programs for home libraries but each required manual entry of all my books each time.
As I passed 5000 books, I came across a review of Book Collector software and purchased this along with Movie Collector, which I still use also. The program was fantastic and Alvin and his company have evolved the product continually. It is easy to adapt, change and modify. I have hundreds of art portfolios, prints and some original paintings by SF and Fantasy artists. I have incorporated these into my catalog with photos of the prints. I also have 1500 SF magazines from 1920’s to present that I may incorporate as well, to join my 6500 books. I can now find anything I want in seconds. Many have assigned values if signed and collectible.
This was all made possible by the constant attention of the company to function. Hats off to CLZ!

I love CLZ and have been using it for years. We looked for something to easily catalog out books. We had discovered that we had bought a number of duplicates simply because we couldn’t remember if we bought it last week looked at that particular book. This not only allows me to simply open my app and see if I own a particular book it also is fantastic at keeping up with my grandchildren’s books at my house. I love this app and have no regrets!!! Get it!!!!

The best app I have ever used to catalogue my book collection, I have been a user since the start, and with the active development team new features and performance enhancements are regular posted. I would recommend this app and their other apps to anybody.

I got convince by a Martha Stewart review a long time ago, and this has been extremely useful. The step to making it even more useful is to take the physical books and sort them by the Library of Congress number which is in the database.

My husband and I are both voracious readers and have over 2000 books (including childrens books) we moved about 5 years ago and never really ‘organized them’ well. With this app we dont have to be organized! I can just click the bookshelf and which row the shelf is and now I can find my book so easily! Best app ever! Easy to scan them and set up shelves. Easy to search by title and author.

I don’t usually do app reviews but I’m compelled to do one for CLZ Books given my experience over the past year and specifically within the past couple days. I’ve been using CLZ Books for a few years now, to varying degrees, but I have really started to put it through some hoops in the past year as I’ve finally begun to organize and catalogue my book collection, now approaching 2250 titles.
I first got it to replace another library app that went defunct, to help me avoid my common mistake of buying a book I already had, but I was quickly a fan of how easy it was to add books to my collection and to make notes for each entry. And with every update, improvements were made that made organizing my library a little bit easier.
There is a lot of data available for almost any book you might have, and adding books not in their database is pretty easy.
The best part of CLZ Books is the responsiveness of their customer support. The other day I had to reinstall CLZ Books on a new phone, and after I’d synced my library to the cloud, the app kept crashing. I was despondent because organizing my library has been a big part of my daily life for months, and the thought of not being able to use the app as a resource was rough.
I looked through the online CLZ community for any hint as to what was going on, and I fired off an email to CLZ support describing my situation. Within hours, I received a reply that a bug had been detected in a recent update and that they’d just pushed through a new update to resolve the issue. Sure enough, once I downloaded and installed the new update, it worked perfectly and I can now continue to organize my library.
Is it perfect? No, there are some sorting and search issues that can be improved upon, but I’m relatively confident that CLZ support will be responsive to comments and questions on the various forums and emails and get us to as close to perfect as we can expect.

To paraphrase the iconic Ms. Tina Turner, the CLZ Books app — whether it's on my phone or computer — is SIMPLY THE BEST — PERIOD.

Helpful to keep track of books you own and books you want to get. Several options for organizing how you want. Recommend this and the other CLZ apps!

I have been using CLZ for my 2,700 book collection AND for my 1,300 DVD/ Blu Ray collection for over 15 years. With the size of both collections I was often duplicating purchases of books and disks until I started using CLZ web and mobile software. Both platforms were easy to setup and use.
Over the years their developers have asked for us users for input on how to improve their products. The upgrades the have made makes it more versatile and efficient. Whenever I have a question they respond immediately and in this day and age that is something special.
I highly recommend CLZ products to any collector. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been using this product since before it was an app, and bought a bar code scanner for my PC. It’s just gotten better and better over the years. I own almost 5000 books, e-books and audio books, and I can check my inventory at any time from my devices, PC, or a browser.
Recently I decided to sell some of my business books, (I’ve retired), and the new pricing feature has been a huge help to determine which to keep, donate or sell. I also track books I loan, which ones I’ve read, where I got them, and where I put them (I have a lot of bookcases.)
In general I’m not an app fan, but this is the exception to that rule. The team are super friendly, send me quick personal emails when I have questions, have implemented suggestions, and continue to innovate. I couldn’t be happier with it.

Couldn’t be easier to use. Scanning the barcodes makes life so simple and it can even read the ISBN codes if there is no bar code. Integrates seamlessly with web version and syncs easily. Very, very pleased highly recommended.

Best book catalog app ever.

Love the app. I even recommended the app to my friend. I was able to catalog most of my books all 187 of them. With the 8 books that didn’t show, I am able to manually type in all the info and take picture of the book cover and upload it.

January 2026, will be my 1 year anniversary of having this app. Favorite points: Easy to use. Organized how I want it. You can take pictures of, the front cover, back cover, and side binding, for the visual memory of the book, instead of only seeing a title. Wish list: I wish the book shelf visual was in the app, with more choices of visuals and color personalization. I wish to synch all of my digital books; Play books, Kindle,Audible.
