Editing Multiple Books

You can edit multiple books in one go by using the Edit Multiple screen.

!Edit Multiple is the only feature in Book Collector that overwrites existing data. Use it with great care.

Editing Multiple Books

1. Select the books you want to edit by checking the checkboxes or use CTRL / Shift + click.
2. Click the Edit button.
3. Use the checkboxes to indicate which field(s) you want to change.
4. Make your changes.

*To clear a field for all selected books, just click the checkbox and leave the entry box empty. The box will highlight in red to indicate the CLEAR action.

Edit all books in one go

If you wish to set a value or clear all values for a particular field for all your books follow these steps:

1. Choose View > Folders > No Folders to have all your books show up in the Main List.
2. Click menu Edit > Select All to select all books.
3. Click the Edit button.
4. Use the checkboxes to indicate which field(s) you want to change.
5. Make your changes.

Editing books one by one without leaving the Edit screen

• Edit one book,
• Use the Next or Previous button bottom left to edit the next or previous book in your collection.
